Yes the dragons (Archdemons) are just bound high dragons, with which the Evanuris would 'speak' and influence the real world so to speak, so Tevinter's gods were literally just whispers from the imprisoned Evanuris, which is what led to the magisters breaching their prison having been lured into the fade, unleashing a small fragment of blight, which is how the blights originated. On your other questions on where the other gods are I won't spoil :) Oh though on Falon'din there are statues and lore of him/her in inquisition and origins. Though again no spoilers from this game of course lots of lore drops to come lass!
That was a great episode! I love Emmrich. He’s just so warm and nice like soaking in a hot tub! The conversation with Solas was enlightening but he’s not a reliable narrator so it’s difficult to know what’s true or what’s been colored by his perception or what’s a downright lie. I mean I know he says all the Evanuris are bad and evil and they killed Mythal but are they wholly bad and evil? Or are they bad and evil bc they didn’t do what Solas wanted? Events thus far show Elgar’non and Ghilan’nain are pretty crazy and insane and maniacal but is that because they always were or because they’ve been imprisoned for so dang long? Very intriguing! Can’t wait to see more!
Well that talk with Emmerich was insightful, especially the bit about King Markus, can't have a succession crisis if the king is undead. Wonder if the designated heir is also undead? Also the talks with Solas and the reveal about the Archdemons, think of the Archdemons as phylacteries for the Evanuris, empty shells that the Evanuris inhabit and take control. Like body surfing in a way the same way corphyeous did. Though given a warden must kill the archdemon and the warden takes the blow by destroying the soul of the archdemon, it's reasonable to assume that they kill the evanuris that was possessing the archdemon when the warden slays it. That's why we haven't seen the other gods, because they all are dead and it's just Elgar'nan and ghil'anane left...and Solas tied their life force to the veil...oh no...oh man, the veil was already weakened by the archdemons deaths, if the last two gods die then the veil will be broken completely.
