Dr.Douglas Bloch is such a smart man, every time I listen to him I get surprised at how many good points he make. I always like to describe one's state of mind during a severe depression, as a state of mind during some insanely intense physical pain. When something hurts soooo bad that you you can't think straight, you can't focus, you can't recognize a single positive thing at that particular moment, in fact you can't do anything besides begging God to relieve that unbearable pain immediately... One's state of mind during depression is practically the same yet it lasts way longer...I.e. Imagine a mental version of the above-mentioned description...sure it may not be as immediately affecting and as absolutely intense but is certainly waaay longer lasting hence it's way worse)...well, it's no surprise that you often can't see ANYTHING positive in those moments... That's why it's so important to be patient, never give up and calm yourself with words "it shall pass, it will be ok, not sure when, not sure how, but it WILL pass and everything will be alright again".
I believe this is a blessing once it's gone its a blessing cuz after the dArkness u feel like ur re born again and ur mind become clear and ur world become bright !! U become super happy and all the clouds are gone !!'😝❤
you probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the latest movies and series on Instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my gf recently :)
Thank You for this Noah. Douglas is a Powerhouse of faith and a great inspiration. He has blessed me in ways that are really extraordinary. He has been an agent of bringing Love, explicit and real into my life.

soberforlfe Just know that I have been debating the same thing for that last 3 years straight and to this day I still have to push away those thoughts and keep going with the faith that one day I will hold stable. We have each other even if its through RUclips. God bless you too.
One thing I have learnt from having crippling dp and depression is that when I get through this dark time I will able to accomplish any thing I set My mind to it's made me a stronger person if any thing. In a weird way I'm kind I'm grateful if that makes any sense lol
"Forced changed perspective". Totally agree with that. I was not a good person before I had these last 8 months of hell. After counselling and medication I am seeing the error of my ways. Such a shame to have got help too late. And I am sorry to my ex for all the trouble I caused her.
WOW man your videos have come along way! so professional looking. This was a Great video and nice to hear at this time in my life..I've been watching your vids since the start..I have had multiple names on here but when I make a new name and this one is gonna be my permanent one hopefully I always go subscribe to your channel.I tried getting The Low-T therapy but having bad social anxiety and a Dr who didn't care it didn't happen as I am a bad advocate for myself.Anyway your videos and just seeing how much you've improved I am gonna demand help and another test. What I am trying to say is you are inspiring and a huge help as I have learned a lot. Thank You.
FullBoarDaniel I knew who you were right when I saw your profile pic. Your long term support is amazing and I appreciate it. Beyond that, I wish you the strength to get re tested and start treatment if thats what you need NO MATTER WHAT.
Never an end to hearing you with your knowledge and understanding. You make such sense,, it is difficult to stop watching and listening, and now learning so many reasons you may ask yourself,,, Why, It is Great that Noah is also a person who knows and see's what I also do in you. Thanks, for another Great Video, Here on 1/21/2019, one of the most down times,, but these videos,, keep me going...
A blessing in disguise? Depression is part of me, it's been part of me most of my life. It's largely impacted my personality, it's constrained what I've managed to accomplish. At 65 my life has largely been passed, those years past can not be gotten back. I accept depression is an integral part of me, it's pointless to think about what I'd have been without it. I accept it as part of me just as I would accept any other physical or psychological issue. If there is any 'blessing' to come out of it, it's that I don't take for granted my times without Depression in control of my life.
Do you find any truth in the fact that individuals who are more "intune" with their psyche are more at risk of depression? Im the type that thinks alot and if im left with my own thoughts then i can "think" myself into depression. Also, too much free time and boredom can lead to rumination which leads to depression, do you agree?
I don't think that I'm the only one but I feel like my depression and dps are hard to let go of. Not just the struggle of getting better but a resistance to getting better like an addict who is afraid to stop using and get treatment. Has anyone been through this? How do I overcome this obstacle?
Steven Perez I've been through this and still go through it I think. I believe the best way to overcome it is to do a little each day for your wellness regardless of what your mind says. At some point you will shift and it will happen so subtly that you won't even realize.

My mind to it's made me a stronger person if any thing. In a weird way I'm kind I'm grateful if that makes any sense lol
MrTbone2912 Oh it makes sense once you are mostly through the hardest part but it was not something I could comprehend early on.
"Forced changed perspective". Totally agree with that. I was not a good person before I had these last 8 months of hell. After counselling and medication I am seeing the error of my ways. Such a shame to have got help too late. And I am sorry to my ex for all the trouble I caused her.
This is really insightful, thank you for sharing!

Noah - any chance of seeing videos from your fiancee or family/friends and the effects of your depression on them and how they've coped?
actually depression. depersonalization, anxiety, low T, etc...
jrmbtr Yes, I keep meaning to do this. I will put it on the schedule.

U deserve more views
Sana Y I feel very lucky for the views I get but thank you
What do you do if you have no support system?
I hope you made or found a support system.
