Hello. I enjoyed the vlog. The sushi looked amazing! Thank you for giving us an idea of your appearance. I now have an image in mind which isn’t too far off from what I imagined. I think it’s wise to remain faceless for now, because there’s no need to complicate your work environment. I look forward to your next vlog. 😊

Hello for a new week! I love how your grocers have so much ready made food. My store used to have meals to be microwaved but not anymore. It was so convenient. The conveyor belt sushi cafe is a place I'd like to go. I would be tempted to take too much. NO more for you! Just one more, please! RUclips may not always be around but there will be replacements. There used to be Myspace, then Facebook came along. RUclips, Tiktok, and Instagram. So yes, there will always be an avenue for people around the world to meet. I, for one, would love to see you travel Japan and share locations to visit. I watch ferry and train buff vlogs too! It all looks so fun. One vloger showed us Mt Fuji, clear with snow on top. No one has had so clear a day for such a beautiful scene. I was in awe. Thank you for sharing your day and please take of you!

Thank you for this video, the editing is well done and the images are well chosen. I really appreciate the conversion Yen => Euros which is really interesting to compare prices. I suppose that the prices must be higher in the capital but it remains interesting. You seem to enjoy delicious healthy meals and I am happy about that. I hope you will make us discover even more aspects of Japanese culture. Be happy Samurai Daddy I will always support your channel ! 11K subscribers now 🥳 Keep Going 🎊

Konichiwa Papa Samurai, thanks for uploading this video. I am really fascinated, how tidy your country is and the gentle behavior of the people there. Prices are lower than in Germany. As a German, I am Sumo fan for more than 30 years and I try to watch every basho on RUclips. It is great, that Kotozakura won the November basho - maybe he will be the next Yokozuna. Sad that Takakeisho retired in a young age. One of my favorite rikishi is Takayasu and Ura. Greetings from Germany, sayonara.

Sedikit tips...apa 3 bahasa cinta yg paling disukai mama samurai?
      1. Kata-kata indah.
      2. Pemberian.
      3. Quality time.
      4. Pelayanan.
      5. Physical touch.
Semoga hal baik segera terjadi...😇

Loving your videos as always! I have a few questions I want to ask you out of genuine curiosity-
    1. You mention you live woth your wife and son, but can never see them in your videos or even hear them? I can understand if you obviously don’t want to show them on camera, so asking.
    2. You eat a lot of food from convenience store which is pre-packed. How regular do you eat home-cooked food? Or do you just prefer to get it from the store?
    3. Are houses cheaper in Yokohama than other parts of Japan? I have seen many videos of how tiny some apartments are there in Tokyo, but thats because of the costly city.
Sorry if any question is out of line, just curious about these things. You can totally choose not to answer whichever question is too much.

Thank you for watching my video! 1. I film my wife and son without them being on camera. 2. Outside of RUclips, I always eat my wife's cooking. Before I started RUclips, all my cooking was my wife's. 3. Yokohama has the second highest rent in Japan after Tokyo.

Another great episode, Samurai Daddy! Trusty Matsuda and Lawson :-) Conveyor belt sushi can be very good, not to ignore or look down upon. Over the years we lived in Fukuoka we often went to a few, one in the basement of Parco was really good and cheap. This even though one of our best friends runs a top class sushi place out in Ohashi. In the days they used to count the colored plates to calculate the bill in conveyor belt places. Also ofc possible to order stuff verbally and not grabbing plates from the belt, the cooks used to shout to you, here comes your order! Now it is way much more modern, but that is very ok too. For people who are really into sushi and the best I can recommend the movie Jiro Dreams of Sushi, 2011. Arigato and have good days bro.

    • @mikaellarsson7932
      @mikaellarsson7932 2 месяца назад +1

@Pykld there are always pseudo snobbish, uninformed people who think from reading about it that conveyor belt sushi is bad. But generally it is not bad, on the contrary. If one wants the real deal, well go to Jiro´s or some Michelin star place, but be prepared to pay a fortune. A general tip in Japan, never go into a place and order without having checked the meny and the prices first. Friends of mine, Japanese, have made this mistake and lost half a month of salary for a dinner with a few friends. Japan can be cheap, but also very expensive, I lived there.

Hi Samurai dad 😄I really appreciated today's video, the market where you go is well stocked😃 the idea of finding ready meals that are so tasty and at a good price are excellent to buy...a question dad because you don't have a bed🛏 to sleep in I know that in In Japan there are futons but honestly I have always wondered but don't you get up with pain in various parts of the body😵‍💫😵‍💫?...how do you heat the house do you have radiators perhaps in the floor? here in Italy they exist...thanks for the video let's see let's see I'm going to sleep 😴😴it's 10.16pm but in Yokohama it's 6am?wow another day begins 😄✌️😄...peace and serenity see you soon...I loved it when you said that you love interacting with people from all over the world🌍🌍we are so far away but so neighbors👱‍♀️🇮🇹🥰🇯🇵

Milo, futons in Japan are very comfortable, especially on a tatami mat. I have slept on futons for years in Japan and never had any pain. The reason futons are used is of course to save space, with the futon/s stuffed away in the morning the room can be used for other activities besides sleeping. I think that is a problem you do not always have in Italy. Yes, floor heating is available in Japan.

Thank you for your comments! I put a mattress under my futon. By putting a mattress under my futon, I don't get sore even if I put my futon on the floor. There are various heating appliances in Japan. I have an air conditioner and an electric heater in my house.

Hi and merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family.
Can I ask you would the camera you use at night be suitable to use for someone like me in a wheelchair. If I needed to put under my leg or down the side of my leg so I can wheel myself. Or is the other one I did see one like your daytime one on a chest strap is only way I could describe it. And many thanks for the videos I think they are great and you’re almost as lonely as me at least you get to go to places I ca as shops all have steps or doorway to narrow to go through plus if I go right it’s down hill and left is uphill. It’s not to back here in U.K. but my dr are 10 minutes away going there and 30 - 40 minutes to get home as all uphill your chicken salad look very nice
    Cheers Steve 👨🏼‍🦽

Thank you for watching my video! I use Osmo Action 3, which is very easy to use, but it is not good at night shooting. I recommend Osmo Pocket 3 for night shooting.

I have noticed during my 4 trips to Tokyo that Japanese people don’t really care to wear nice shoes and during my visits to friends who live there, women seem to own only 2 or 3 pairs of shoes, there seem not to be more space at the entrance of the flats for many shoes,at least myself and my girlfriends have many many more pairs

PLEASE DO NOT MICROWAVE PLASTIC!!!!! Please research microwaving plastic. This can cause many illnesses. Microplastic and nanoplastics can get into food. Can cause some cancer, brain development, neurological, behavioral, and thyroid issues. Can also lead to heart attacks, strokes, and FERTILITY problems. Please take care.

Your videos are always so good & interesting. But, I am really a bit shocked how much plastic you have in Japanese supermarkets. Everything is wrapped in plastic. Over here in my country (Germany), we really hate plastic and we are trying to reduce the plastic waste as much as possible. And I also wish you and your family that everything is going to be well again! You really should sit down and talk with your wife. Hope, it helps!

  • @martadabrowska6513

I’m honestly shocked how much plastic is used for packing all these ready meals. Come on, packed boiled eggs for breakfast? Hell, the whole idea of packed BREAKFAST? You can boil an egg in a couple of minutes at home. The same thing goes for fruit and vegetables… What’s wrong with a simple sandwich at home? The Japanese may be working overtime, but they’re doing everything to spend as little time at home as possible. In my country, ready meals from convenience stores are also popular, but these stores (even the smallest ones) also have in stock fresh produce. You can get milk, butter, bread, fruit, cheese and so on. In Japan, everything seems pre-produced as if no one cooked at home anymore.
