The fact the thumbnail of tgis video became his yt banner. Also this actually gave me some motivation points. And probably the reason why this became so popular is because it is focused on air which is harder to animate due to the fact airplanes dogfights take many twists and turns

Everybody keeps complaint how "historically incorrect" the aircrafts are, I think it's fine the way it is, it's a pretty good animation using a paint app. Anyways great job and keep up the good work.

He used Pivot, not a “paint app”. Pivot itself is advertised as a simplified animator and is a free alternative to Adobe Flash (now known as “Animate”).

Wonderful job. But believe it or not, the Germans did not succeed in knocking down even one of the British Radar Towers during the Battle of Britain. They gave up bombing them almost right away (a big mistake). The Germans never understood how the British Air Defense worked as they didn't use radar and had only recently started using radios in their planes. (Source: "Spitfire on My Tail" by Ulrich Steinhilper).
While you are right, most scenes are actually referencing the Battle Of Britain movie. A very good movie.

Wow that was an awesome animation, I like how you didn't choose a side on your animation like some animations favor the British or Americans and rarely the Germans but all of them died in this. GREAT WORK!!

Nice to see other planes that were used in the battle(Me110s, Ju88s,Do17s and Hurri's) that aren't usually depicted in movies or Docs.
The Spitfires involved the Bfs109 in dogfights while thr Hurricanes took care on the 2 mot bombers. Set an engine on fire and forget him. They will not make it home. Go over to the next one. It's told that the nazis lost 185 planes at a single day, September 15th 1940

Imagine yourself in this situation.
So your one of the RAF's top pilots chilling like it's peaceful in the British Empire. Your from Canada so your kind and you made good friends. But suddenly. An air raid siren goes off. You knew it was about to go down. You run to your Spitfire along with your friend trying to run to their spitfires as well. Trying to make history. And you and your friends take off at an airfield. You meet up with your friends and the other RAF pilots eager to save the UK from occupation from the Nazis. You see german fighters in the distance along with one HE-111. Which there is more than one. Then you saw a formation of HE-111 bombers and their escorts. A dogfight ensues. A BF-109 gets onto your tail. You don't know how to get him off you. He hits you in the Engine. Along the way you got wounded in the arm. And your friend saves you. But it's too late. A round from one of the HE-111's turrets hits you in the wing out of the 76 holes in that wing. The wing separates. But you crash landed with only a wing. You know how to fly on one wing
