TPA police believe they stopped another sheep but are sadly mistaken.
This video is over a year old and the memory ran out on my phone.
They ended up letting me go because in fact I did nothing wrong.
Filed a complaint against the guy who opened my door and have not heard a thing about it since.

Get an exemption from your states DOT and you're exempt. Plenty of medical conditions that can get you that exemption.
I heard someone says that when you are in a private property such as the parking lot of a supermarket, mall or gas station you are not required to wear the seatbelt, once you are on the road yes.

We don't know anything but that he put what he put in this video. That is the problem. He may have actually done what they said he did. He did say he stopped because his blood sugar was low so he did actually stop. Got Thickah9 has a point he could have rolled his window down out of curtesy to find out what was going on and why he was being stopped but he did not. No the officer did not have the right to open his door when he did though either. If he had a problem with his blood sugar then he should not have been driving in the first place so apparently that is not true but that is conjecture as well. He might or might not be telling the truth I think not. (Just my opinion) The fact is the camera was only on so HE could make his point rather than actually see the whole event unfold. So again all we can do with what we saw is make assumptions as to what really is going on with just that little bit of evidence.

The video ended before a clean resolution. It seems to me he turned off the camera. Then, he gave his license and insurance. The guy even admitted that he did in fact stop at one point in time. And we can assume that's what the cop was referring to when he said he committed a traffic infraction by stopping. Felix clearly says he did stop at one point in time to check his blood sugar..

I'm all for exercising our rights, but something just occurred to me. Why do these auditors get pulled over so often? I have been pulled over twice in the last seven years. On both occasions, I was speeding. One guy wrote me up but I went to court and it was reduced. The other guy let me go because I was polite.

To be fair you are not going to lose anything if you has just rolled the window down since it is almost impossible to hear each other right?. This way many people will be in trouble under pretext of not collaborating. The right way to handle it is to open the window, show them your license and registration, then if you believe you were treated unlawfully and unfairly, you can sue them aftermath. Not arguing them in the midst of incident.

It is not hard but it is not required and may create liability. Why is it so hard to claim you smell a controlled substance and force a search of car? It is not. Without a window down no claim of smells prompting otherwise illegal searches. Car windows are not sound proof. Speak louder. Documents can be viewed through glass (surprise).

I have been stopped for a bogus reason, told the officer I was NOT in violation of any law, showed him numerous vehicles equipped just like mine, he waned to tell me I was mistaken, and then as he realized I had him and his attempted tax collecting lies, he changed the conversation to see if I was on probation, had I ever been arrested, was I on probation in another state, and on and on. He then told me to have a nice day. But that is why I made a bumper sticker showing a motorcycle cop pointing a radar gun with the caption; WARNING, Armed tax collector lurking in shadows. Should I rant on? No time for that.
