Fun fact even 14.5mm is extremely thin armour when it comes to anything bigger than 12.7mm heavy machine guns (50cal AKA 50 BMG is a 12.7mm round) so basically what you said is extremely inaccurate by a LONG shot. All well said a MG42 or MG34 would shred trough that trucks back like paper

The most none realistic war movie of all time. My favorite part was the guy in the back of the troop hauler shooting at the jeep with a machine gun couldn't hit nothing. But the girl puts the hand gun out the window and puts 2 rounds through the wind shield.
That MG-42 used the powerful Mauser rifle round and would have made short work of everyone inside that truck in seconds. While the Schmeiser with the pistol round would have been no match. The scene is beyond ridiculous.

I am no expert in military or CGI and yet still cannot bear with this clip for more than a few minutes that came out of nowhere through FB's algo because of the cheap quality and setup from the firefight, bomber, etc.
The scene in particular really reminds me of Indiana Jones. There’s a lot of clear shots and scenes that just mirror, Indiana Jones, and the Raiders of the lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the last Crusade.

The CGI is second rate for sure, and as illogical and flawed as a number of things are in the movie, it looks like a real fun RUclips video made by a lower end video editing program.
The P-51 shot at 2:16 is actually rather good in terms of modelling quality, lighting, materials and composition. Man, the other parts though... yikes. Shame to see so much potential come up short. The producers should consider donating or licensing the source material to a university/art academy, great practice for students and they could probably salvage a lot of this significantly (at least in terms of VFX). The 4:3 aspect ratio is a mystifying choice.
Always amusing to me that these war movies can't figure out what the term "Bogey" means. A Bogey is an unidentified contact. Usual a radar contact. Once you know it's a hostile it's usually called a bandit or tango.

Pretty sure, “See you on the flip side” wasn’t in the lexicon of 1940’s Americans.
Nobody has commented on he fact that you could not talk to aircraft on a simple walkie-talkie with WW II technology.
Typical range for handhelds in WW2 was a mile if battery was 100% and if you were lucky. Plane would literally have to be hovering over them.
