Is it me, or are there no triggers used on the bass drum pedals? Must be why I love the drum tone.

Alex Ramos i don't know what you are listening on this, but the bass drum is obviously triggered, what you hear in the video is the camera microphone, when you see him play outside of the room you clearly hear the trigger

GuyDude BuddyFriendPal a lot do, a few companies make sticks with no taper so they're just the same shape throughout. Holding them upside down is kind of uncomfortable, so having with no taper lets you get a normal feel.
