Another great and honest review. But is the Mini losing it's fun aspect? Is it becoming large, heavier and almost a family car....for small people. ;) The Mini used to be a drivers car...fun, tossable, light and quick. Please don't let the weight creep up with larger cars and deluxe interiors.
At 0:44 you mention that we’ve seen enough of your videos to know how they drive, but I’m new and was looking for a comparison between the 4-door and the countryman. :( Maybe I’ll find that video elsewhere on your channel?
Hmmm. This must have been when inventory was down and I couldn’t drive the vehicles. Still can’t drive them anymore due to limited inventory. The 4-door being longer than the 2-door feels more stable and less twitchy. Same goes for the countryman. It comes down to space and size in the end. They each have their pluses and minuses.
I like the size of the 5dr more, but however being in Canada, AWD is such a huge benefit I cannot overlook that Clubman All4. It also helps I still want a car with about 300hp+, something the 5dr cannot provide but the Clubman JCW seems to be just the ticket.
But how is the drive different? Looking at getting the S version but need 4/5 doors but it’s a mini so really how do they handle and how is the power in what I assume is a heavier Clubman?
The MINIac thanks, have a budget of around 35k, currently living an area that is lockdown due to virus but as soon as things return to normal I plan on heading out to dealership to gets some hands on experience. My other option considering saving up maybe another year and pulling the trigger on Clubman JCW . Can’t wait to test drive and thnx for all the great vids.

The designers at BMW should understand that not because it's call Mini means it has to be made small, they could make it bigger and with some common sense, you bunch of oximorons.😐😮😐😮😐😮.

Good comparison! I like the Orange 2 door in the background best :)
I have a 4 door s model 2024, and I love it!

Helped me make my decision clubman
Well how does the driving dynamic compare? I love the zippy feel with amazing feedback of the hardtop, but what is the clubman like in relation?
@@TheMINIac awesome, thanks man!
Great informative thorough comparison!
Another great video!
Considering a Clubman S All4 to replace my 2017 Nissan Rogue.

@@TheMINIac I am thinking about leasing a clubman. What do you think about reliability/service cost?
Is or was Starlight Blue available on the MINI hardtop? What years...I can't seem to find that info. Thanks.
How does the clubman drive? Is it zippy like the 4 door? The countryman didn’t give me that feel and I felt way too upright and the dash in my face.
Clubman is pretty zippy. With All4 it’s incredibly fun. The Countryman you just have to finesse it a bit to get it to do exciting stuff.
The JCW appearance package is the BWM showing though in the new mini's gene
@@TheMINIac because BMW has had the M appearance package for a while now and now it's trickled down to mini

I think the closest I got to a comparison between the 4-door and the countryman would be the clubman and the countryman.

Clubman Wheelbase 105.1” , 4-door hardtop 101.1, 2-door hardtop 98.2, Year 2002 2-door 97.1
@@TheMINIac I'll add that, TY.
Wheelbase:

Do they both have the same sized hood?
Does the clubman still have the blue leather option?
Thank you. Your videos are terrific. T)
Clubbie ..... all day long !
Are cargo hooks available in 5 door hatch trunk?

A mini pick up truck now that’s something I would like to see
@@TheMINIac no I haven’t but I now see you have a video on it I’m definitely going to check it out

Why is the engine and engine bay in the Mini Clubman so filthy. Shameful!! Great video thank you.
As you can see…
I do not understand why MINI made the four door Cooper. It’s ridiculous
The MINIac I’ve never seen a 4-door mini on the road.
I love my 4 door S
cuz your a troll not a car designer
Omg they ruined the look of the clubman. I hate it
