@@joyousbloom731 I am sure it is the couple we bought the house from - they lived here for 32 years, the husbands name was Joe and and I think her name was Hannah.
Stunning home. The view down the arched hallway into the room with the window and drapery is serene and just beautiful. Congratulations on creating such a lovely home.
I love the contrast between them designer and contractor. One emphasized how beautiful the handmade craftman while the othere emphasized how hard it is to be made. So typical ❤
Oh my goodness! I look at a lot of design videos, and I think this is my favorite house that I’ve seen! So light, warm, natural, and calm! All the tile is extraordinary. Just SO beautiful!
I’ve never seen a home designed and decorated so similarly to how I vision my perfect dream home. It’s cool to see my vision in real life! Amazing job!
Beautiful design!! Love the soft, neutral shades that brighten the interior while ensuring a calmness all along...this is how i envision my dream home as well 🙂
I’m stunned with the renovation-each room is gorgeous and has such a soothing palette. The tiles are beautiful and unique. My favorite part of the home is the combination cabinets/shelves built-in in the dining area. Could you please share the paint color of the kitchen cabinets?
I generally like and appreciate these videos, but there does seem to be a disconnect between the audio and the visual at times, e.g. when she's describing the tiles in the bathroom, but we don't get to see them. I don't know if it's how the video is cut, but a sense of flow in terms of understanding the house layout always seems to be missing as well. Having said that, I do enjoy watching these and like that you include the floor plans on the blog.
@@SimpleDwelling You definitely have not missed the mark. This is the only negative comment (and it's not actually negative, simply constructive feedback). Your videos are beautifully filmed and edited, and feedback like this just refines your style as it gets better and better!
Love love love!! Color scheme is perfect, calm, dreamy and organic. This is excactly how I would like my house to look like. Great taste. Bravo! ❤️❤️❤️

I found your channel through Bauwerkcolour…. I am struggling to fine the lime wash paint colors you used, particularly in the hall way. Also, does your company ship tiles to the USA and if so is there someone to help (Online) with the color pallet ? ( I guess I could research that on you’re website) Thank you so much for your help.
Makes me sad that the parents want the children to be calm and not express their emotions through running, playing and talking with joy. Beautiful home.
Excellent transformation but I'm not sure about putting the toilet in the center of the house... and the kitchen cabinets are way too high... wonder how they manage to reach them in daily use... other than that, it's a lovely and calm house!
It can be confusing, and while I don't want to put words into Georgia's mouth, you can have an 'urban suburb', a 'semi-rural suburb', and I guess 'suburban suburb' is referring to what we typically picture when we think of 'suburb'.
@@labdefab7611 Not much of a Vexing pleonasm, just a girl who spoke a sentence that made no sense. :) Not so easy talking to a camera. Hope you enjoyed our home tour.
Tiles are stunning...though kitchen floor ones are not laying flat.....ugh..i see cut feet in the future. Glad they are happy with it [ personally I feel it is too forced and out of sinc in suburban Australia...plus it is not in fact a spanish mission style house....and a couple of twirly pillars out front, do not make it so.]. This is an ad to sell it.....subtle....not !!
A beautiful and sophisticated home, but the Chinese and Indian artworks, however fabulous, don't lend themselves to a Mediterranean feel. They are more suited to British Colonial Decor.
I never knew there is such a discipline as Interior Architect.... Interior designers cannot call themselves architects....Space planning is done by both disciplines.... but no Architect will define themselves as "interior"... Architecture is about space and outdoor environment .... unlike Landscape Architecture which deals exclusively with low rise architecture and green spaces as enveloping the architectural creations ....Sorry- it had to be said.
I like the fact that they show you the plan of the house so you kinda wont get lost by just watching it.
My 89 year old neighbour raised her family in this house. Wow. This looks amazing.
Oh wow, thanks for sharing that! That is cool to hear.

As a ceramicist, this house delights me!
Mediterranean interior with Asian artwork, interesting.
They were family heirlooms from my mum and dad :) we love them!

Giving me Studio Mcgee vibes but much more refined. Fantastic home! 😍
Exterior looks good but 0:54, a bathroom in the middle of the house? No way this is approved in many parts of the world, especially in Asia.
English is not my mother tongue. Perhaps for that reason ‘suburban suburb’ sounds very odd to me. Am I wrong?

@@SimpleDwelling Thank you for your explanation.
So beautiful but some of it looks impractical.
None of it is impractical for us xoxoxo
@@georgiaezra3252 easy to forget everyone lives differently so the needs of a house can be opposite to what others may need from the space. 🙂

A beautiful and sophisticated home, but the Chinese and Indian artworks, however fabulous, don't lend themselves to a Mediterranean feel. They are more suited to British Colonial Decor.
There is no such thing as right or wrong in design. We love these artworks in our home and think they are beautiful!
Nice home. Not sure about her attitude though. Asking the workers to redo the arch hallway twice isn't something I'd be smug about.
Three times 😉🤣
If she is paying them fairly for the rework then whats this noise all about ?
Neat, tidy, beautiful, but a bit bland, needs colour!
i feel bad for the husband who kept getting cut -off by the wife.
Who said that beige couldn't be...... perfectly awe, yummy, sexy, jam, and completed.
