Fourth - TE to take over as TE2 behind Henry or an OL or LB

Phil you're bias so just speak about your choice Drew Brees is a HOF qb and smaller than Daniel's point being you cannot project how anyone will be until they play. We have every reason to draft a qb just like trading back to fill more spots makes perfect sense with additional pics in next year's draft as well. Caleb is not a guarantee with all his upside just be aggressive in making positive progress for the future.

I watch the tape, all throws and runs. I don't see a way anyone can tell me that Drake Maye is the answer! What are all these people looking at? He doesn't put the ball in the optimum spot. He misses a lot more throws than you would want too. His running isn't all that great.
He is not Herbert and he is not Allen. I'm afraid if we get him, that is what people will be expecting.

Easier to teach Daniels to slide than teach Maye to be accurate and consistent. Daniels automatically slows down the pass rush because the defense has to play to contain instead of rushing.

Um why do people keep saying he's not accurate and inconsistent?? He has a career completion percentage of 64%. That's pretty damn good. Even in the nfl that would be good. And he had a 1.8% turnover worthy play percentage. Had he been in the nfl with that % he would have been tied for 1st in the nfl. Wish people would stop spreading this ridiculous narrative. The guy is PLENTY accurate and not erratic. Sure he's made erratic plays at times. But yall acting like it's ALL the time. It's not. Drake maye is the better qb. Fact.

he's got a lot of "Phillip rivers" in him? as a patriot fan idk if that's a compliment.
look man, if you don't get Daniels(a scrambler that can eliminate the pass rush with his feet) just trade down, take 2 firsts cause ya gonna need em. and take tackles. take penix or JJ in the 3rd round. but you need to build the line you don't even have an offensive line for a QB to operate behind it don't matter what options are open to you. you don't have the luxury to just waste picks.
All these QB's are not for you. even if they were "NFL ready" you are not.

You need to be able to deliver good passes to those talented weapons for the numbers to be so impressive. As a fan, I am happy with either, but lean Daniel’s just based on how they look on tape.
