The Holy Spirit is our comforter and protector. He woke me up in the middle of the night and told me to get on my knees and pray. It was a command!. I did it and went back to sleep and slept like a baby. I was indeed protected from something (spirtual attack). Ill never forget that. It feels so good to be in Gods favor. My shepherd, He stands before me.

I loved hearing this ine tonight. The devil really has tried to throw everything at us, even the kitchen sink. But because of God we are still standing today & standing with the Lord Jesus Christ. So this thanksgiving I am thankful for God being in my life, thank You God for everything!
I was saved and baptized in 2016. After over 40 years of being a staunch atheist. If these videos had been around, I might have been awakened sooner. It would have definitely made getting sober a lot easier. It all came down to seeing what was really going on my entire life. God has spent a lot of time and effort keeping me alive and well, from childhood through war on two continents, and then over a decade of alcoholism. The Father wants me here and now - he also wants everyone reading this to be here and now.

I thought that when I face conflicting situations and I do what is right that God would change the other person's behaviour or get them out of my way. Little did I know that it was I who was being prepared to get to that peak. The devil might have thought that he placed an obstacle to stop me but little did he know that it was not the obstacle I was focused on. My focus is on that GOD, to get me to the peak. Yes. Imagine you see a peak (a better place) and you have a rope (jesus) in your hand, which is anchored to the other side. You have to cross a raging river (obstacles) but you know to get to that better place the only way is across the river. As you start crossing over you realized the strength of the water BUT you hold on to Jesus and take the actions that would get you across. Your focus is not on the pull of the water but on the next step, it might be swimming, diving under or stepping on the stones. As long as you do the right thing you will get over. Do you have a dream? Do you see yourself in that place, or position? Then all you may have to do is continue focusing on that position. You will be distracted by the actions others may take towards you and the objective is to stop you from believing or expecting what God has placed in your heart. You can't stop the obstacles its just natural. BUT you could still get to that place as long as you do not let go of the dream God has given you. Sometimes, we look to others to confirm for us that we think we should be doing. This is a mistake. When God speaks to you, no one hears. When Abraham had to move away from his family and culture, he alone had the desire or dream. God spoke to him alone, no one heard but him. What if he decided to remain with his father who decided to remain in a certain place, maybe, Abraham would not be famous today. There are people whom you are travelling through life with, and they might make stops but that doesn't mean that should also confirm to what they are doing. You have your own legacy to leave behind. Not your parents' and family's but your own. It is important that you keep moving up just like Caleb who said *give me that mountain* Begin to dream or pick up the dream (the desire God has given you) and move and keep moving till you reach that place, then you dream again. If these videos had been around, I might have been awakened sooner. It would have definitely made getting sober a lot easier. It all came down to seeing what was really going on my entire life.

I thought that when I face conflicting situations and I do what is right that God would change the other person's behaviour or get them out of my way. Little did I know that it was I who was being prepared to get to that peak. The devil might have thought that he placed an obstacle to stop me but little did he know that it was not the obstacle I was focused on. My focus is on that GOD, to get me to the peak. Yes. Imagine you see a peak (a better place) and you have a rope (jesus) in your hand, which is anchored to the other side. You have to cross a raging river (obstacles) but you know to get to that better place the only way is across the river. As you start crossing over you realized the strength of the water BUT you hold on to Jesus and take the actions that would get you across. Your focus is not on the pull of the water but on the next step, it might be swimming, diving under or stepping on the stones. As long as you do the right thing you will get over.
Do you have a dream? Do you see yourself in that place, or position? Then all you may have to do is continue focusing on that position. You will be distracted by the actions others may take towards you and the objective is to stop you from believing or expecting what God has placed in your heart. You can't stop the obstacles its just natural. BUT you could still get to that place as long as you do not let go of the dream God has given you.
Sometimes, we look to others to confirm for us that we think we should be doing. This is a mistake. When God speaks to you, no one hears. When Abraham had to move away from his family and culture, he alone had the desire or dream. God spoke to him alone, no one heard but him. What if he decided to remain with his father who decided to remain in a certain place, maybe, Abraham would not be famous today. There are people whom you are travelling through life with, and they might make stops but that doesn't mean that should also confirm to what they are doing. You have your own legacy to leave behind. Not your parents' and family's but your own. It is important that you keep moving up just like Caleb who said *give me that mountain* Begin to dream or pick up the dream (the desire God has given you) and move and keep moving till you reach that place, then you dream again.
