Mam do you know any wet confirmatory test for lithium ions for eg for . Potassium ions give yellow ppt with sodium cobaltinitrite to give yellow ppt of potassium cobaltinitrite

That must be an dil hcl that was added for confirmation of sulphate after white ppt sulphite is soluble in dil hcl and sulphate is insoluble in dil HCl
Mam he was adding conc.HCl without dropper and without any precaution😱🤯🤯it could have hurt him.....well ur videos are just awesome 👍❤️ they're really very helpful🙂🙏

Mam, what if I used dry salt instead of its solution in the BaCl2 test ? I suspect that I used dry salt in BaCl2 test in my practical exam... But a white precipitate was formed.... pls help...
Should not have used salt as precipitates can only be seen in an aqueous solutions.
It means that I had used aqueous solution of the salt... Right ?

I wanted to add a thing on flame test because there comment was off. For Ba and Mg , that energy lies in UV region therefore flame was not visible.
That is applicable for beryllium and magnesium not for barium

@@hrishi3245 you can write BACl2 test for preliminary and lead acetate test for confirmatory....I had got ZnSo4 in board practical exam and I did this only and it's correct
