Folks, please, please, please invest in a panel removal tool. They’re very cheap - as low as $8 at HF or on line. Nothing worse than scratching up your interior trim by using a screwdriver and GM cars scratch easily.

Hi. I have a 2010 Camaro SS. The stereo works but the system no longer activates the ac Compressor. All ac parts are new ie compressor, dryer, and condenser. does this octopus system allow you to control the ac as well? NEED HELP PLEASE.

However its something that I don’t really use so I haven’t put the effort into changing it, The A/C does change to “F” To your second question, since I got the highest option it comes with the head unit wirelessly. I had this unit installed in my Camaro not too long ago one question for you with my original unit I was able to hear my phone call of with Bluetooth throughout all of the speakers in the car well the ones in the door and the ones in the back I don't know about the the tweeters and all that but however would this radio it comes directly from the passenger side only is there a way I can adjust that to where I can have it coming from all speakers when I'm having a conversation on the phone thank you for your time by the way I've looked all over trying to find an answer for this problem per se no luck yet hopefully you can help me out and also it's a ahd camera I'm having issues with that and I don't know why thank you

Hey!! Sorry for the late reply, I honestly never used this feature so I had to test it out and kept forgetting!! Anyways The stock USB will no longer work so you have to use the USB that comes with the head unit…. Depending on what unit you have, for example my DO10-15 has wireless car play, the cc10-15 has wired but you can buy a dongle. The carplay works through an app called T link(there might be some videos on that) The carplay is the same as any other head unit Skipping songs does have a tiny delay but nothing too big!! If there is anything annoying of carplay is that reversing it stops the music! I haven’t found a fix for that Long answer but hope it helps🤷🏾♂️ Don’t forget to like and subscribe:)

@@thev6camaroguy The reason I ask is because the Boston acoustic setup is actually different. There is an amp in the trunk. The standard radio setup shouldn't have that. The Boston acoustics setup probably require a line output converter for the heat unit.
Yes, you are correct the amp is located in the trunk….as far as the head-unit, it’s completely plug and play for Boston acoustics and for normal audio systems!!! No extra requirements. Hello, the navigation for the head unit its kinda weird I didn’t get the app to work correctly, but I also did not spend time on it.the antenna does work….so when I do use navigation,apple play or the google app on the unit will do the job (internet is needed) Hope this helped! Can I use a y tap and tap into the wire where the tail light harness is you know where the tail lights are or do I have to actually tap into the reverse wire that is all the way down the bumper ?
I don’t mind at all, I don’t remember the color of the wire I taped into…but you can always get a tester and test it out. For your second question, yes all you got to do is open the trunk and get that plastic cover for the taillights off and that will reveal the wires you need(no need to mess with the bumper or nothing like that) Hope you are having an amazing day and dont forget to follow me on instagram!! Hi there, I honestly don’t use on-star but yes, the head unit does work with on-star, although you might need a ground loop isolator because its too noisy One of my subscribers used one and fixed the issue!!!! This is beautiful unit ! I've had my eyes on it for quite sometime. I ended up putting it on the backburner because I already had the Chevy link touch screen and features. Instead I decided to go for air suspension and rims first. I have now turned my sights back on a head unit and upon revisiting DO's website I noticed a new DOTS - 1015 unit. @@thev6camaroguy I installed the backup camera 2 days ago and every time I put the car in reverse it emits a loud static buzz. The side buttons where it says home, media, etc…. Are not working anymore. Not sure if something got unplugged by itself? The music stops when I put the car in reverse and the built in gps doesn’t load anything. I had other issues before that too but got those fixed
Oh I see, the backup camera is a setting you must change to get it to work same goes to the music when you back up… go to the main settings to change those, regarding the buttons I haven’t had problems but I hope you get it resolved!!

How’s the navigation?
Hello, the navigation for the head unit its kinda weird I didn’t get the app to work correctly, but I also did not spend time on it.the antenna does work….so when I do use navigation,apple play or the google app on the unit will do the job (internet is needed)

It only works in reverse, you wouldn’t like it in drive either way because the back up camera interrupts the whole head unit not allowing you to do anything while its on

@@thev6camaroguy I got another question if you don’t mind answering, what color is the reverse light wire? Can I use a y tap and tap into the wire where the tail light harness is you know where the tail lights are or do I have to actually tap into the reverse wire that is all the way down the bumper ?
I don’t mind at all, I don’t remember the color of the wire I taped into…but you can always get a tester and test it out.
For your second question, yes all you got to do is open the trunk and get that plastic cover for the taillights off and that will reveal the wires you need(no need to mess with the bumper or nothing like that)

Hi there, I honestly don’t use on-star but yes, the head unit does work with on-star, although you might need a ground loop isolator because its too noisy
One of my subscribers used one and fixed the issue!!!!

This is beautiful unit ! I've had my eyes on it for quite sometime. I ended up putting it on the backburner because I already had the Chevy link touch screen and features. Instead I decided to go for air suspension and rims first.
I have now turned my sights back on a head unit and upon revisiting DO's website I noticed a new DOTS - 1015 unit. It's slightly higher in cost but I always wanted a tall monitor for my ride.

Priorities are first!! But It all has its time, I really like the head unit, and the company…Hopefully one day I can work with them 👀

Its an awesome radio and its working good, I do plan on making a video with details of the radio its self so stay tuned!!

@@thev6camaroguy I installed the backup camera 2 days ago and every time I put the car in reverse it emits a loud static buzz. The side buttons where it says home, media, etc…. Are not working anymore. Not sure if something got unplugged by itself? The music stops when I put the car in reverse and the built in gps doesn’t load anything. I had other issues before that too but got those fixed
Oh I see, the backup camera is a setting you must change to get it to work same goes to the music when you back up… go to the main settings to change those, regarding the buttons I haven’t had problems but I hope you get it resolved!!
Does this audio work in Japanese?

Hey! I looked into it and YOU CAN change the language on the head unit, I changed it to Spanish that way I don’t get lost (I don’t know Japanese but there was an option) but there was some stuff that was not translated but it wasn’t crucial to the operation of the head unit
