if you are thinking about going you should definitely go! I took industrial design in the session that this was filmed and the amount of tips, tricks and skills that I learned here gave my portfolio that extra something special!
I just got accepted into the illustration-drawing program but I know for fact that I'm not going to pursue art as my career, I just want to pursue it as my hobby. With that kind of mindset should I still go?
I keep getting discouraged of art school for so many different reasons. Cost, stress about whether an art degree is actually practical.
Please don't discourage people because of someone wearing a pair of headphones. I didn't even noticed until you mentioned it.
Do what YOU want to do. If you feel that it's 'impractical' you can always go to a university, get a degree, graduate, and find a job but do artwork on the side as a hobby.
or
assuming you're really young, take the chance and just go to art school.
Good luck.
What's the music being played?? I tried deciphering the songs cause they're good tracks but you don't say.
The fact they chose a student wearing beats by dre headphones really discourages a lot of potential students from this program. The program looks amazing, but I couldn't take it seriously because of that one bit.
yeah dude they're encouraging the wrong things by including that product.
