Great review! You said that 13m turns slow, but I think you would be probably more confortable with a bigger bar. Your bar is to small for the 13sqm. Thanks for your review! Im a peak2 user. I'm wishing to test the version 5.
Hi, my Bar has 55cm and that is what Flysurfer also recommends. And I can fly loops with backstalling the kite. So I don‘t thing my bar is to small. The Singleskin Kites normally flys slower and turn slower than a normal soft kite. And the 13m war really to slow for me and in ride ups between trees and rocks I need a little bit more reactive kite to get up the mountains save.

Salut Horatiu, vad ca te interesezi de peak 5. De cand l-am testat pe al tau in Tenerife am inceput si eu sa ma interesez de unul. Am uitat cum se numea site-ul de unde l-ai luat tu
I use 1.6mm frontlines (425dnA) and 1.3mm backlines (300dnA). You can buy the lines from SK Shapes in custom length. It is a custom bar especially for snowkiting.
Nice video! Why did you choose 5m for strong winds but not 4m? I'm thinking about getting a kite for winds from 16 to 38 knots. I saw on youtube that some people used Peak4 4m and some 5m for these winds. I had Peak 4, 3m and felt it was not enough power for me.( 70kg) For what wind range you plan to use Peak5, 5m ?
Thx! The reason is that I had the same range before and there is always 3m2 different from size to size. I used the 5m only two times last winter and to be honest, It was not funny to kite in a snowstorm by -15 degrees. So if there is a storm, I prefer a wellness weekend😀 The 5m is also a good kite for my girlfriend when I use the 8m and I plan to use the peak on the foil as well. I think the 4m is just to small and not very funny to ride.
@@RiftboardsSwitzerland Thanks for your answers! That's what I think as well that 4m is not fun to ride. Sometimes I like to be over powered a little bit and I think that with 4 m peak it is very difficult to achieve :) Personally I don't like pink colour but I like yellow. That's another reason to choose 5m instead of 4m :)
Nice Vid, @Riftboards, definitely helped me hit the buy button on a v5 so thanks!. It was a coin flip between the 4m and 5m and I finally went with 4. On snow I can hold my 12m Speed to low 20's but that get's no fun very quickly. I'm hoping the 4m will take over for those conditions (which we get a lot) when everyone else is on 7m LEI. If I didn't have the 12 I'd get 5m for sure. (90kg). Will let ya know how it goes in a week or 2.
Hello! Did you try your Peak 5, 5m in gusts? Today was very gusty at my place and one man tried Peak 5, 6m. The left tip of his wing was always folding. The kite is brand new. Did you have a similar problem?
Hi Never used the 5m yet. Just 8m and 11m and never had problems with the tips. I bought the 5m primarily for foilig in waves. But I will answer you again if I use the 5m in the next few weeks.
@@RiftboardsSwitzerland thanks! i have a 13m peak4 and 6m peak5. do you think a 55cm bar with 22m lines would be good? or 50cm bar? Thanks for the video
What is the minimum wind required to ride with the 11 m and go up hill but not steep? I tried it over the weekend for my weight (83 kg) i was overpowered with gusts in the ~20 knots specially that snow was hard i had to do quick release. Also it looks like it will fly until you feel there is no wind at all. Didn't get the chance to ride with it waiting for when am not at work and gusts are not beyond 17 knots.
Great review!

Hello! Nice review, thank you! What bar are you using? Do you use it on all the flysyrfer peak kites?
Hi, it is the Snowkite Bar from SK Shapes. I use the same Bar on all Peaks.
By far the Best Bar and Release System you can get!

@@collider4378 HI! Did you try 4m size? If yes, what do you think about the power and pull of this kite? Or you think 5m would be a better size?

Take the 55cm bar!!!
Hello! How is the material of your Peak 5 doing after almost half year of using it?
Hi
It is still perfect. You can use this kite for many winters!

I think in 7kn to 8kn you will already go up the hill. In 20kn I will go for the 8m. On Single Skin Kites you are overpowered really fast.
@@RiftboardsSwitzerland Nice! Thanks for the reply.
Hello what bar do you use ?
SK Shapes Snowkitebar
das Teil scheint Wolken anzuziehen😂
Jooo und bei der Kitefarbe ist das geile, er wird sogar unsichtbar!!!
