      Great question. Dr Campbell does not address this nor does Dr Horlick, who I am now editing his Austrian address into several short videos. Of course, K2 is often recommended in conjunction with D3, and both of these doctors say they take it. You could check directly with either of them [@campbellteaching or drhorlick.com] Also, Dave Asprey, who gives a lot of advice on supplements in his new book: Smarter, not harder, would be another resource. I will do a video of his on his book next month. You could check with insuliniq.com, Dr Bikman's medical group.

    so what causes higer, abnormal calcium? Thank you for this great information?

    • @doctorstotrust
      @doctorstotrust  Год назад +4

      Great question!! Here is what Dr Paul Mason says:
      Vitamin K2 has role in telling calcium
      where to go: blood vessels or bone
      Very good evidence that isolated calcium supplementation
      increases the risk of heart disease in females…
      I don’t recommend taking calcium supplements;
      it is something you should get from diet
      -get it from eggs
      (has building blocks of skeleton!)
      -small fish, like sardines
      [from doctorstotrust.com. search on calcium]

      Great question! Dr John Campbell [PhD] suggests:
      Some patients take 4k IU a day, okay
      others, need up to 10k a day to get
      blood levels to 40-50 ng/mL
      Vitamin K2?
      -100 micrograms if taking 4k IU of D
      -if D more than 4k; then need 200 K2

    How much k1 and K2 should The average healthy young adult that is indoors most of the time, take with vitamin D?

    • @doctorstotrust
      @doctorstotrust  Месяц назад

      From Dr Michael Cohen:
      Question: What dose vitamin D?
-steroid hormone
-affects all over the body
-D3: 5k to 10k IU a day interacts with 1200 genes
-safe at very high levels
      [studies: 50k IU/day No adverse effects]
      -often recommend 4k, if normal health
-overweight, may need 10k/day
-test blood levels! in sunny Israel,
      often below 20 25(OH)D, or even below 10
-ideally want to be: 50 to 100 25(OH)Dng/mL
      [100 ng/ml = 250 nmol/L] {{mine 67ng/ml}}
Some patients take 4k IU a day, others, up to 10k a day to get blood levels to 40-50 25(OH)D ng/mL

      Zinc
-25 mg a day OK [up to 40 OK] [above 40 can affect copper]
Vitamin K2
-100 to 200 micrograms/day

Vitamin K2
-if taking 4k IU of D; take 100 micrograms K2
-if D more than 4k; then need 200 K2
Fermented foods have more K2; Muenster cheese very high
      Normal summer day produces 25k IU vitamin D in our skin, then shuts down intake
      ruclips.net/video/xs9bENOQQaU/видео.html.
      No need for K1
