Thank you Keri! That's so nice of you. I had fun making this video. My sons were my little Directors. I also made one for my sister's baby shower with blow pop suckers coming out of it. wish we had mardi gras in the uk . but I will use your ideas and get creative and make somthing similar for my daughter's room thanks x
Hi Kerry in the U.K.! That's the beauty of this topiary you can make one for any occasion. Thanks for watching!😃
Very nice....what size is the container and how large a foam ball did you use? F.Y.I. you can purchase glue that will not melt the foam.
Thank you! It's was a small topiary pot about 6" tall. The ball was about 6" ball. To save you time and a few steps I now suggest using a topiary foam. Here is a link to one on hobbylobby.com. tinyurl.com/jtzjsoz You can also buy it in store at Hobby Lobby or from any craft store. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!😁
So beautiful love it

Ur decoration r different never seen them before. I love New Orleans if I seem anything from New Orleans l get it.
You're so right 'Styled by Dana'...DIY is exactly that - doing it yourself. Always worried about the pins though. Have a great day as well? I surely will...
tulle and glue are not the best combo, which is why pins are used. if your worried about straight pins, I use greening pins, they stay put a little better and they are what all floral design people use ..
melissa wheeler - for my daughter's birthday several years ago now...I made tall topiary trees as a marker so people would use the side gate rather then coming through the front door. I used crepe paper which I twisted and hot glued down to the styrofoam ball. You have to be careful with the tulle because you will get brunt but the crepe paper works up a treat as well.
I haven even trying to find the mask you used in this video for a month now and no luck. I went to the website you listed in your comments but still could find the mask. Can you tell me the name of these mask
Tyra Ross Sorry you are having a hard time finding the mask. I don't know the name of the mask because they didn't have a brand name on them. They just had the store tag where they are sold on them. Try checking back around the end of the year when Mardi Gras season starts again. Maybe they will have them on their site by then. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!😊
Hi loved your video, about how much tulle did you use for this one ball?
Hi! Thank you! I used a total of 4 spools 2 of each color. Thanks for watching!
cute but to slow and you skip how you put the mask on the tulle and you skip the how to do the bottom did you just glue the bead ?
I am so loving your channel!!!

I was born and raised in Mobile alabama
Every single topiary ball I've seen on RUclips is pinned! If you were going to sell these or even just give these away, you couldn't. Why isn't anyone gluing these. Pinning is so wrong for a number of reasons...if a child gets a hold of them, there's trouble. They see nice looking but why not glue them.
+Maureen Green Sorry that you feel pinning is wrong. Isn't it awesome that when it comes to DIY's that you can create or adapt them to your style or liking. Thank you so much for watching & have a Happy Valentine's Day!
Hi Maureen,
I've tried gluing when using the hot glue gun it melts the foam balls.
Maureen Green Maybe you could experiment and then make your own video. They also sell premade balls.
Happy Mardi Gras.....We love your topiary idea.We decorated our mantel this year for Mardi Gras.....If you get a chance we would love for you to stop on by and check out our video.Have a Blessed weekend
