The magic paper is a gold foil that transfers to a special type of glue! The glue I used dries 3D and if you use this foil, you can turn into 3D gold lines!
I hate it when my teachers step out of their subject zone, like for our project worth 15% of our mark, we have to write an essay on a character in Romeo and Juliet and then create a mask that is symbolic of the traits of your character!
That's why I am on this video! Within my school I'm going to have to make a masquerade mask based off one of the characters I have came across so far in lesson from Much Ado About Nothing, I'm going to try make a mask for Beatrice. I'll make sure for sure to not make it dainty as hero's would be (for example hero might have some flowers and light colours) as Beatrice is quite the independent woman so I would use velvet red, gold maybe. Something that would make her stand out, but not completely out.
Hey guys!! I just found something similar to magic art foil and glue. It's called "iCraft Deco Foil"! It works almost the same way. Check it out here: www.thermowebonline.com/c/new-products_icraft-deco%E2%80%88foil
@@Makoccino I know that I am really late but I must ask you if you can show me how to make scipios mask in the book thief lord because i need it for a school project, if you can do that, that would be awsome
Yes, I was a little bit late with this tutorial but I really wanted to uploaded it because some still had halloween, so I hoped they would see it in time!
Wow. My sister and I watched this video so we could learn to make some masks, in this case it was for an upcoming masquerade party. They turned out SO AMAZING!! Thanks so much for this fantastic video!
i love how in every of your videos, you always use easy materials that everyone can get easily without doubt, and yet the product is still so awesome ^^ love youuu
I just used the magic art glue because it was like 3d when it was dry. Is the fabric paint that way too? Maybe there is a similar glue that would dry 3d that you can paint it on or sth!
Glad you like it!! I got it in a craft store and found some shops online that sell that. Maybe you can find something similar like gold leafs for crafting.. Or you can use 3D glue and paint it on...
You can. But in this video it's not from scratch not even a little. If you seen mine you will flip 🙃 and I sell mask. In this video my mask don't look like that
Just your orange pencil drawing might even be enough just to steal my heart! I love it so much ! now I'm gonna start crying like a baby 'I want it' ... so beauty!
My prom is masquerade themed and since I already spent so much money on a dress I really didn't want to spend more on a mask... im so inspired to make my own now! Thank you for the tutorial!!
You are such an amazing artist. I didn't think you actually made the 2nd mask- it looked like something you'd buy at the store! keep making more videos!
I used your video for guidelines on making some prom masks for upcoming prom night. I changed the recipe up a bit, used glue gun for the ribbon trim, had some powdered gold glitter instead of press foil and so on....but anyway, the masks turned out GREAT! Beautiful! It was so much fun making them too. Had so much enjoyment making them now I want a reason to make more! Thank you for your video, it made making these masks a breeze!!
Thank you! I just couldn't find a tutorial on how to make a mask from scratch so I decided to find a way how you could do it that is simple and easy. :)
I'm going to be trying this technique but I have no idea where to find magic glue, does anyone know if tacky glue will work just fine? I haven't gotten anything yet I don't want to spend extra money if I don't have to
Thanks so much! really needed this for my poetry class, because we are doing a project where we have to find a poem we like and create a masquerade mask and wear it while reading it. I had no idea what I was going to do and now I do thanks to you! #absolutelivesaver!
I think scribbles has something similar in gold. You can can use it four the outline and it will dry 3D? We don't have something like that in Germany, so I haven't tried it out. :(
***** do you have a Gmail account?? If u have then why can't you reply to our comments.... sign in and then see if u can answer to our questions !! :D :)
Ooh. Can you make a DIY for those masks that are only on halfway, kind of like the one in the movie Phantom of the Opera? Pretty please? *puppy eyes* I will love you for the rest of my life. :D
I would try to cut the eyes in the mask so it has a similar shape as your glasses so you can wear them over the mask. But you could also try to make the mask a little bit bigger, so you can wear the mask over the glasses. Or maybe you can create a mask that you glue on a stick, so you have to hold the mask!
This is so pretty and it's a brilliant idea! Thanks for sharing! I really love it! Gotta start looking for the magic glue and transfer film soon. Hope i'll be able to find it in Singapore. Thanks once again! =))))))
That my fellow was awesome it's a easy step by step and it looks realistic and amazing I'll have to try that out and it's so hard nower days to find masks and this is awesome thank you !

I got this from a german online craft store called idee-shop.de they also deliver to other countries as well. But you can probably find sth similar, if you search for magic art glue! I think fimo has a similar kind of gold foil...
Thank you sooo much. I hav a spring fling coming up & its a masquerade theme & I dont hav a store here tht sells masks so u have officially saved my life =)
