Hi Angie. Seeing you sticking up for and your love for the Manics makes my day, I had no idea. They are indeed a truly great band, my all time favourite, have been for about 25 years. But before that, before the Manics even existed, I fucking LOVED Hanoi Rocks, they were THE best live band but, and I hope you don't mind me saying this, they never quite translated that live greatness onto record. I saw them 3 times around '83/'84, the first one was at Aylesbury, where they were supported by Johnny Thunders. We got there early, walked into the venue, and he was doing his soundcheck. JOHNNY FUCKING THUNDERS, amazing. Anyway, we saw Hanoi Rocks 3 times in total, they were FUCKING awesome. Love to Andy.

BTW: I have to mention that Andy has a new record that is diverse and strong! His gigs got postponed so it was live-streamed last week. If you dig Hanoi, Check it out. Btw: Johnny Thunders ( RIP). He's my cousin. I say this humbly. We are truly blessed to have these maestros of music like the MANICS, NY DOLLS ,HANOI ROCKS, IGGY ( Jim) POP & on. Not to judge or compete with eachother like culture doe´s, however to compliment, respect and love one another as we are all qualified in different areas. It feels like time leaped 27 years and some of my favorite artists ( I had sadly forgotten, Like Manics) came back & strong. Also, Johnny Marr, Ride, MBV, Andy McCoy, Lush Slowdive and more and thit is a delight to my soul. Even though we are going through hard times now, This too shall pass.
