I shall make my Morris blazer! Thanks to this brilliant tutorial I can fit all the pattern pieces on my meagre length of fabric. Helen, thank you you so much for sharing your knowledge, tips and tricks!
Ha! I wondered if anyone would spot those!! Baby toes are the best :) and thank you! Video production is a work in progress but very nice of you to notice!
I love your pinked edges, so sweet and old-timey. And is that a Bernina 1230? I'm lusting after your #35 invisible zipper foot. Fun video. Yours always make me want to go and sew!
Thank you! I love pinking shears! I believe it’s a 1080 from memory - was my mums and she bought it in 1993! Yes the foot is great, I was lucky to inherit a lot from my mum and it makes a big difference!
I have a RTW knit tank that I want to recreate with similar gathering that you managed to get on the back, but it's along the bust instead and flat in the back. Thicker scraps gather slightly where it connects to the bodice as well. I love it because it's comfortable and cool but I look dressed up. Thanks for the zip clip tip along the seamline. I noticed that you had the steam on when you pressed the interfacing. I do that too but sometimes hear you should turn of the steam. Maybe it depends on fabric type possibly???
I have bought this pattern too and want to make it soon. So great to se you succeed with your pretty blouse! Did you make a muslin first or did you just dive right in to it with your nice fabric? And if you did witch alterations did you make? Kind regards
I have to admit to diving right in, but if I had taken the time I would have made a very slight adjustment to the front princess seams to give a bit more room

Oh, Welcome! So glad to spend a few minutes in your company (and with your project).
I love that shade of green! They style is very complementary as well!
Thanks!

Thanks! Yes I think technically you’re meant to turn the steam off but I’m lazy! 😀
Very nice! I prefer the shiny side of the fabric but that's just me :)
Thanks! Yep all down to personal taste! The shiny side would look even fancier!
Odds bodkins!😄🥰
Pretty top love it x
Thanks Julia!
Hello I wanted to know more about the class you took to learn how to fit a muslin on your body.
I have bought this pattern too and want to make it soon. So great to se you succeed with your pretty blouse! Did you make a muslin first or did you just dive right in to it with your nice fabric?
