A dutch oven would probably be the best method to do that. Even then it would have to take several hours, at least. Assuming you are cooking it so that it is actually edible and cooked evenly throughout.

They were one of our favorite ways of cooking, as long as we had the time (as cooking by dutch oven takes a lot longer than stovetop cooking).

If there was such a thing as divine intervention then very many children would be saved from misadventures. God cannot be so busy that he has time to wake up a kid in the middle of nowhere and yet not intervene where other innocent children need help. No, it was human intervention, a boy who was too sweaty to sleep and needed fresh air.

I hope the sleepwalking was due to simply being a new place and the stress of it and not a sign of something a lot more serious.

I worked at a Boy Scout Camp in Northern Wisconsin for 7 years in the early 2000s. I have MANY paranormal stories to tell if you’re interested. The camp I worked at opened in the 1940s, but according to many, many camp staff experiences it was definitely the location of a very important Native American site. The paranormal activity was always more prolific during Order of the Arrow ceremonies - a tribute to Native Americans. We had dozens of documented sightings of the same apparition in the same location by staff, but it was confirmed by the campers who would attend camp for a week at a time and tell the staff stories (100% unprompted). Campers would tell us during meals (each camp staff member would rotate between tables each day, one staff member per table) stories about their experiences. It was WILD how many Scouts would tell us the same stories about what they saw. “I saw a white figure with long white hair and dark eyes looking at me. I couldn’t sleep”. I have been in the BSA for a few months now and I have slept about every were but their was one night I will never forget,it was about 2:am while me and my friend were up and everybody was asleep we slept in a church or what we call a (lock in) and I started to her thing under a table my friend who had a bunch of Tactile gear pulled out his go pro and started recording we didn’t see anything so we kept talking for an hour and than finally went to sleep. But the day later I get a text from him and he shows me pictures from the go pro the showed a scaly man looking at the camera creepily and that would explain the noises that we heard,I’m paranoid every time I walk into that church and it still haunts me to this day.

One time I was at boyscout camp and I was walking around with some friends. Our camp was the furthest one from the area where all the regular stuff went on, and it was a big camp site so it was 15-20 minutes away. While we were near a place close to the camp entrance(the furthest place from the camp) in the middle of the day the alarm sounded. I can't really remember what the alarm patterns are now but it was the worst one that pretty much meant to go back to your camp and hide. We started running to the camp, we weren't supposed to be that far so the scout masters were mad that we were so far and it took us so long to get back. The same alarm would have sounded if someone came into the camp and started shooting everybody so everyone was pretty worried about what had happened. There were rumors going around the rest of the day but none of them really were true. Everything was canceled for the rest of the day and no one left their camp area. By the way, in case you didn't know they have a different camp area for every scout group. My camp was the only one in a large radius so there was around 30-40 groups, some coming from neighboring states. The next day in a knot class one of the students that was friends with some of the counselors started spreading the truth. It got around the class(around 15 kids in that class at that specific time) . What happened was the headless body of a well-known(in the camp) stray cat had been found in the forest. That day the cafeteria was closed, and later we found out why. The head had been found in the freezer. They didn't want all the kids know but all this info got around pretty fast, and they found an ax that had been used eventually also. It took them years to find the kid who did it also.
As an Eagle Scout and then assistant scoutmaster, we always had fathers pull guard duty each night on camp outs. We had shifts and each father (one was a police officer)had a concealed weapon (hidden from the scouts). We had “walkers” at some of our outings up in N. Georgia. Dudes or animals just close enough to hear but far enough away to not scare the scouts, for the most part. Always taught the scouts and novice fathers about situational awareness. Good lesson for everyone.

when I was young I was camping in Montana and there was a mountain lion and I said "kitty!" my mom turned around and saw I was going to touch the creature and dragged me away from it saying " honey! get the 9! NOW!!!" So now I know how stupid I was back then......YEA!!!!!!!!

I worked at a Boy Scout Camp in Northern Wisconsin for 7 years in the early 2000s. I have MANY paranormal stories to tell if you’re interested. The camp I worked at opened in the 1940s, but according to many, many camp staff experiences it was definitely the location of a very important Native American site. The paranormal activity was always more prolific during Order of the Arrow ceremonies - a tribute to Native Americans. We had dozens of documented sightings of the same apparition in the same location by staff, but it was confirmed by the campers who would attend camp for a week at a time and tell the staff stories (100% unprompted). Campers would tell us during meals (each camp staff member would rotate between tables each day, one staff member per table) stories about their experiences. It was WILD how many Scouts would tell us the same stories about what they saw.

I have been in the BSA for a few months now and I have slept about every were but their was one night I will never forget,it was about 2:am while me and my friend were up and everybody was asleep we slept in a church or what we call a (lock in) and I started to her thing under a table my friend who had a bunch of Tactile gear pulled out his go pro and started recording we didn’t see anything so we kept talking for an hour and than finally went to sleep. But the day later I get a text from him and he shows me pictures from the go pro the showed a scaly man looking at the camera creepily and that would explain the noises that we heard,I’m paranoid every time I walk into that church and it still haunts me to this day.

Dear my nightmare I’ve been watching since my freshman year of high school. And I enjoy your videos a lot, they honestly help me get through my life without losing my mind. So keep up the good work👍🏽.
One time I was at boyscout camp and I was walking around with some friends. Our camp was the furthest one from the area where all the regular stuff went on, and it was a big camp site so it was 15-20 minutes away. While we were near a place close to the camp entrance(the furthest place from the camp) in the middle of the day the alarm sounded. I can't really remember what the alarm patterns are now but it was the worst one that pretty much meant to go back to your camp and hide. We started running to the camp, we weren't supposed to be that far so the scout masters were mad that we were so far and it took us so long to get back. The same alarm would have sounded if someone came into the camp and started shooting everybody so everyone was pretty worried about what had happened. There were rumors going around the rest of the day but none of them really were true. Everything was canceled for the rest of the day and no one left their camp area. By the way, in case you didn't know they have a different camp area for every scout group. My camp was the only one in a large radius so there was around 30-40 groups, some coming from neighboring states. The next day in a knot class one of the students that was friends with some of the counselors started spreading the truth. It got around the class(around 15 kids in that class at that specific time) . What happened was the headless body of a well-known(in the camp) stray cat had been found in the forest. That day the cafeteria was closed, and later we found out why. The head had been found in the freezer. They didn't want all the kids know but all this info got around pretty fast, and they found an ax that had been used eventually also. It took them years to find the kid who did it also.

As an Eagle Scout and then assistant scoutmaster, we always had fathers pull guard duty each night on camp outs. We had shifts and each father (one was a police officer)had a concealed weapon (hidden from the scouts). We had “walkers” at some of our outings up in N. Georgia. Dudes or animals just close enough to hear but far enough away to not scare the scouts, for the most part. Always taught the scouts and novice fathers about situational awareness. Good lesson for everyone.
