Man i don't know anyone else in poker who has the balls to openly shittalk a livestream he is going to be on himself. Doug will openly tell you how he feels about you and your decisions to your face if he has to.

You are 100% right Doug, they advertise for months that it was gonna be a "1 MIL BUY IN GAME" and then lower it to 500k so Aussie Matt can play. And for Rob to say that is just terrible and Rob knows ur right deep down.
To be fair a 500k game with Aussie Matt will 10 times out of 10 be infinitely more entertaining to watch than any amount of buy-in without him. That guy hates money.

Don't always agree with Doug, but he's spot on here. Don't call it a $1,000,000 buy in game when it's not. Simple name change and we're good. That being said, we're getting 12 hours of free poker content every day for five days straight. People need to stop complaining.
Doug I must say that you are the most enjoyable poker player to watch as it is evident that you enjoy the game immensely no matter what the stakes of the game you are playing. If someone starts watching a game mid stream and there are no graphics showing cumulative wins or losses then you and Alan Keating are the two players that would be impossible to tell weather you are up or down. You really seem to play the game for the enjoyment of the game more so than for winning results. That is what makes you entertaining to watch. Thanks!

They had a format years ago that I think should be brought back. The biggest change I'd like to see is fan evictions. Every 3 hours or so ya post a voting poll on who should be evicted and have a fresh player ready to take their place. So when JRB looks like he's about to fall asleep or Huss just talks to damn much we can keep the game moving with evictions......
Never heard of this concept in poker but that would be amazing for the viewers. By the end of the night theoretically you would have the best lineup possible.
@@drugsrbad475 What they had before was the players voting who to evict....usually they voted to evict the least active player not giving action. I propose changing it to a fan vote. It will keep eyes on the stream too, if ya can't stand someone you can vote to out him...Like I think Stanley's bad night was because Huss was giving him a headache and annoying him, you can see it on his face.

@@OperationNonsense Games like the streamed ones are not more trustworthy than any other private game. A LOT of the guys in the streamed shows are there to get costumers for their own private games, that is literally the main reason for them to be there.
I am as CASUAL a poker fan as ALL CAPS can EXPOUND. Initially, I didn't like Doug but now I find him to be the only guy I follow to check in on the game. He's honest and funny and he will bring a few K to the views on Monday who will be pulling for him or not...but it will be fun to watch. Right?

Doug learns that if you take a big enough sample of random ppl on the internet, you will have every possible opinion represented and it does not make any sense if you dont put weighted numbers and represented percentages behind the numbers
bo matter how you analyze them statistically, you are still making a mistake by not completely ignoring them. there is no way of knowing whether the person who posted a given comment actually agrees with what they commented.
the live chat was pretty clearly against the stream as a whole. They thought it was way too tight. Doug has a right to argue against that position, it was clearly a majority opinion at the time

JRB showed his true colors in the first 45 minutes of day 2. Huss flipped over his AA within 1 second did a split second shoulder shrug because he truly didn’t know what he was up against. JRB went on about how he got slowrolled for hours. Being nasty & bitter to everyone because he was stuck 400k fast.
Then he makes the decision to run in 3 times with Aussie Matt completely abusing the floor guy & Nick/Ryan were just standing in the door & did/said nothing. When I know for a fact 3 times isn’t allowed on this particular stream as a strict rule unless you’re JRB & say it’s our money we made the decision, go away.
He’s also the one who made it a 500k buy-in to accommodate Matt when they’ve been promoting this for 3 months as a million dollar game.
And then when he gets close to even he cancels his 45 flight & says in an interview it wouldn’t be fair to win & leave on these guys. All of his actions were just in complete poor taste, sore loser, I’m the king I run the show etc.
Nick & Ryan need to show some balls and put their feet down but they looked like scared children. Sad part is he has charisma but if I played in his “private games” I see right through the con artist he truly is. Whatever, just my opinion..
He’s a huge whale. And when he tilts it’s legendary. I remember playing 50/100 limit triple draw one time back on stars. He lost 25k in 90 mins which is pretty hard to do unless you running back or playing bad. He wasn’t running bad. Turned 3k into 14 that day pretty easy

Why would he have a check worth a million dollars for 2 years instead of cashing it? He's claiming that this was his buyin ready to go, it doesn't make any sense that you would just be keeping this for any reasonable length of time after receiving it, the risk of loss/damage/theft outweighs anything else.
@@davidoconnor1773 well burglary is real part of life. You can hide a million dollar cashier check easier than 1M in cash. Even if it gets destroyed you can go back to the bank & cancel it & get it reissued.
@@davidoconnor1773 I worked in banking close to 20 yrs, people issue themselves cashier checks for many different reasons. So people do it so they can’t spend it without doing several steps to convert it to cash, others for savings & so on
