Lovely video. Bought this makita the other day. Nothing else to say about it. Very happy with it.
I went over the blades with a metal file before using it. I don't think it was necessary, but I can't compare. Had the makita batteries anyway, so for the price of the body, I'm very happy. Glad to see that adapters also work if you happen to have other batteries
Im in the US in Massachusetts near Cape Cod - i have 1/4 acre and do about half at a time on two sets of 5 amp Makita batteries provided in the box. I have lots of Milwaukee batteries for my grinders and heavy tools. I plan to use the adaptors when these batteries go wrong in a few years. Im happy to see that they seem to work. I may even cut open that battery cover and make it larger.
@@robertpittsley5886 yeah I thought about doing the same but really it just rests on them and it’s no problem. Coz when. Ya cut or remove the cover ya get the dust and wet in it . That’s grate info about how much you get out of it btw 👍 thanks for that 👍👍

How much run time does it have with Milwaukee batteries compared to to makita???
So we haven’t done the full test yet but I would say you would get about the same depending on you Ah on the battery as u can get . The conversation kit purely just allows you to use Milwaukee as well as DeWalt on a Makita tool 👍

I would also imagine it's going to be about the same. The machine draws what it draws. If the batteries have the same capacity, they'll cover just about the same work
