Great idea! I'm making a desk that will need to be moved from time to time and these look like the perfect solution. Much more low key and usable than some of the other "retractable casters" on the market.
In the long run you may need to beef these up if you're only focused on workbenches. However, as you bring these to market, the ideas are endless for use with other types of furniture, tools, large potted plants, kitchen islands, etc. Good luck in the future and I will be purchasing some now. Thanks

It is a neat installation, and better for being on the inside for a cleaner form factor. But the benches people have today, are insanely heavy. Come out with a model that raises with a drill driver, preferably from the side, and that would work. Might be possible to raise the bench with a scissor jack, if these hold a lot of weight.

Once we can make the load easier/safer to lift we will have no issues with offering a larger load capacity with our casters. We will definitely keep everyone posted. Thank you again.

Love the idea. A lot easier than bending down and flipping a brake lever.

Love this idea, can't wait to see if they make higher weight limits.

Looks like a great caster! Won’t work for me though. Have a very bad back and my workbench weighs 900+ pounds and the is no way I can lift each end an inch.
    But definitely a nice product.

It's not ideal for casters to mount to a vertical surface. Mounting to a horizontal surface like conventional casters puts less stress on the mounting screws. With careful mounting, these could work well if your bench is not too heavy.

Saw this video a few months ago, but still can't find the size of the casters. Would be nice to see 3 or 4 inch casters as it makes rolling smoother than small 2 inch wheels. I've got the site bookmarked and keeping an eye on them. The price is very reasonable.

Hello, We will be introducing a 2 1/2" wheel diameter very soon. Here's a video from Ron Paulk on the R8 version. ruclips.net/video/Uq3h9tn01Rs/видео.html

Looking at the specs I'm seeing that each caster has a 125lb weight capacity. Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I'd just like to verify: Does that mean if I'm putting 4 casters on a workbench (in this case it would actually be for a butcher block kitchen island) that my max weight would be 500lbs or are there other factors I'm not accounting for (i.e. weight per side, etc.)?

    • @CLove511
      @CLove511 6 месяцев назад

Yeah, that's per caster, so 500 is the limit for 4.

I’ve got some uneven pavement leading out of my shop and it’s sometimes nice to roll the paulk bench onto the drive way.
    What’s the max range?

Great idea, just would prefer something with a greater weight capacity. At 125 lbs. max per caster that's going to get chewed up fast with heavier work benches, especially if they have any cast iron items mounted on them. Do you have plans for something with more weight capacity? I figure I could make a foot pedal of some sort to left the one inch needed.

125lbs per caster is 500 lbs for 4. How heavy is a workbench? maybe one with built-in drawer cabinets and full of tools?

I don't consider me lifting my work bench to be *automatically.*
I'm sticking with my linear motors to raise and lower the wheels, _automatically_
