Beck - Spiral Staircase (Game Arrangement - Sound Shapes)

I stumbled across samples ripped from the Sound Shapes game, so I decided to put all the pieces back together to recreate the original arrangement from the game. Result: The full songs without any annoying SFX and character death sounds. I made a few alterations to make the song more fluent, but for the majority I stuck to the original.

If I had to guess, Cities (the song) shows the destruction of a city, Touch the People shows an acid trip thing that could happen before death, and Spiral Staircase is exploring the afterlife
Idk for sure, there could be no lore at all, but I know it’s a banger

personally, the song was always about loss. The city being destroyed in the most chaotic and dramatic fashion, the acid trip shows the insanity that comes with the loss and grief (of the city) and Spiral Staircase is about the acceptance of loss and moving on.

Want to leave here the little story that I Played this game during my childhood, and I thank it so much because I think it introduced me to amazing Music and now that I grew up, I always come back to this music because I just can stop loving how amazing it's, thanks for this, such a great game.

I wonder if this song is about the Winchester house. I mean, think about it. Spiral staircase into nothing? The Winchester mansion was full of staircases and doors that led to nowhere. Widow's web? Mrs. Winchester was a huge fan of the design of spiderwebs, featuring it prominently in her windows and wallpaper. Just something to chew on.
