Now that I'm older, the nuance of this level has finally grabbed me. A bombed city, up in flames, missiles flying through the air alongside radiowave broadcasts. And then, a comforting voice: "There's a hundred dead cities outside waiting for the night to come." A pause; then: "I don't know if it's all made up. You weren't made for this place, but it's not your fault." This destruction, this tragedy, this ruined world; no one was made for this. People were made for happier times. But it's not the sufferer's fault that things are the way they are. It's okay to be upset. Move a little. Break a little. Hurt a little. Lose a little. It's natural. You weren't made for this place.

I remember playing this level, struggling to get past a few parts in the middle of the whole level. I played the demo and never had the actual game. I played this throughout my childhood so I didn't know what a demo was and thought that was the whole game, I also played it for YEARS because that is how much of a banger this game really is. Man, so much nostalgia.
Aw man this game feels like a weird little memory from the early ps4 days. Amazing memories and times :') Surprised it never took off because you were able to make your own music in the design of a platformer
You did an AMAZING job. Thank you! I really appreciate what you did here by giving the song proper structure, removing those awkward pauses and abrupt tempo and mood changes, and adding great build up. My only nickpick was wondering why the drum rolls were too quiet.
I’d love to see at ranking of the 20 main levels in this game, because I’m genuinely not sure which one is the most popular. *Humming in my head* Move a little...turn a little...break a little...hurt a little...move a little...turn a little...break a little...lose a little...
I’m just going to throw in my own ranking of the 20 main levels. #20: Invaderoids, #19: Break a noids, #18: Personnel, #17: Extraterrestria, #16: Disasteroids, #15: Sneak n’ Deke, #14: Research and development, #13: Galactanoids, #12: Aquatica, #11: Hills n’ Spills, #10: Spiral Staircase, #9: Purgatory, #8: Hypoglacia, #7: Sparkle Darkle, #6: Thermogenica, #5: Event Horizon, #4: Mechanica, #3: Touch the people, #2: Rowdy Cloudy, #1: Cities. Feel free to tell me what you think is the best level.
Also, I don't want to put you up to anything, but I was wondering; have you done anything else? Namely Invaderoids or Purgatory. Those two are also great!
Sadly no. I don't have the files required to recreate any other the songs, and the person who shared the Beck files didn't bother uploading any of those either.
Well, here's the samples for all the other songs, if you wanna try remaking them. drive.google.com/file/d/1D6mXzIdvpgmghyWRrNKqKIpJuh3FBpf3/view Also, Corporeal was released as a standalone album, which can be found here: jimguthrie.bandcamp.com/album/corporeal
I know this is very late, but could you do an arrangement of hypoglacia? Its an underrated piece from that game and no ones done something like this for it
