Snowboarding at Mt. Spokane for the first time! (Snowboarding in the PNW)

- Went on a 3 hr drive and headed towards Spokane WA to go snowboarding. Went along with my friend Nate and had a blast! The snow was perfect and soft. I tried to get some jumps in here and there and have been getting better. I definitely plan on going over there again. Overall an amazing day and well worth it.

i went in mid jan on their discount throwback day. was like 16 bucks a lift ticket? was cold and blue bird straight overnight powder day. first time at the kan and it was awesome. more fun than mount hood. it actually got me into tree runs
I was stationed there for 6 years. I would go there and 49Degrees North quite a bit. Silver Mt was pretty cool too.
Been trying to get back to at least visit since 2/1976! Great video keep recording & skiing of course.

Subscribed. Are you living around Spokane? I’ve been living in San Diego for 11 years and North Carolina for 10 years before that. I love to surf but am itching for a change. The mountains and snow are mystifying up north. This vid just fuels that fire to take a chance and make the move to Spokane. I really want to learn how to lay on a rail and throw a bunch of snow amongst other things. I like Spokane for its cost effectiveness as I’m getting priced out in SD paying ridiculous rent and most everything else too. My lease is up Jan 15 and I found out my landlord won’t be renewing lease they are gonna tear down the houses on the property and build a McMansion. So I have been doing some research on Spokane past couple weeks and by chance I found a free snowboard deck that seems to be my size and a decent board for beginning. I take finding it at the time a sign. So any good info on the area would be much appreciated. Could I find cool pads in downtown Spokane? I want to try to avoid apartments. Is the area seen as getting more expensive bec of transplants like myself? Job market? Is this a weekday on the mountain? Any info you could dish out would be extremely helpful. Thanks Chris
I heard too that the chicks up there are way fuckin cooler and down to earth, which is a plus 😂
Maybe a dumb question. But never snowboard before. Going there next week. Is there lockers for you to leave your shoes once you get your rental boots?
Honestly I’m not sure bro I never rent boots there. I would think they would but if not you will probably just have to go to your vehicle and do all that.
No there isn’t you have to bring them back down to your car
