You should get fabric tape to reinforce areas like handles to that are prone to strech and wear. It will make them stronger and last longer.

Did you choose to finish the stitching by hand for the look? Because it looks like maybe you could finish the bag with machine stitching like gussets? Maybe a dumb question.

Really incredible video man but I have a question, do I need a leather sewing machine or can I use the Singer 4423 Harvey duty sewing machine?
nice video! I bought the same machine. Here is a tipp: Everything I pre-punch the holes and then stich it hole by hole using the machine. The result is great, like Handstich. The only issue is the stich of this machine has an inverse angel of the normal chisels. In oder to get a perfect result you need a inverse chisels (mostly is custom made and experience), or punch the holes from the backside then use the awl to enlarge them from the front.
Cool I havent tried that yet! Sounds like a good way of getting perfect stitches.

@@TheSwedishMaker btw, you could sand down the machine needle to have a round toe, which makes the sewing even easier.

I just used whatever we had lying around at home. I usually try to find something that won't deteriorate over time and I think the stiffer it is the more premium it feels. Thanks and Happy New Year!

I just purchased and downloaded this , but I’m confused on what size I need to print this as. It only says to print in poster size … there are multiple sizes for poster… why are there never any actual dimensions listed on templates ? ? Any help is appreciated . Thanks
Not sure if I ever answered this, but it should be printed at 100%. Full size. Poster printing is a setting in Adobe Acrobat to print a design over multiple papers.
@@TheSwedishMaker Thanks for the reply, if it needs to be printed at 100 - can you separate the templates instead of putting multiples on one page ? Right no w it has the frame and main portion on 1 page. If we print it like that and it’s on multiple pages, it will be anywhere from 20 and up pages just to tape together. If you are able to send the dimensions of each piece I can do it from that as well and may be easier
@@TheSwedishMaker also just a suggestion, I notice there arnt punching holes on your pattern. I can do those myself but it may help others to have that already on there . Thanks for the rad design !
