    Thanks for the review. It’s not a surprise to see that these are essentially the same tool just skinned differently. We may very well start seeing a bit more of this market approach to the chagrin of some Milwaukee fans. Milwaukee’s showing off a new router for example recently that appears to use parts scavenged off the Ryobi router. And you KNOW they’re sharing parts elsewhere in a lot of products. Nothing wrong with that.

      @Mykel Hardin they all may be using the same cells but the electronics involved with charging and protecting the battery packs may be different. I have had superior performance with Milwaukee batteries over other brands. Milwaukee batteries just don't seem to fail very often. I have many Ryobi and Dewalt batteries simply stop charging. I have a couple Milwaukee batteries that have reduced capacity but none have simply failed to the point of not charging.

      Bosch makes a more compact one lined 4 Ah than Milwaukee does 3 Ah. Bosch is the same for 8Ah than Milwaukee for 6Ah.
      We love to switch and battle some times in real life applications. The Bosch ProCores keeps working longer and unlike Milwaukee they don't lose to much power if they are on 1 to 2 bars left.
      So i dissagree. In 21700 18V Batterie tech Bosch is leading

    I push the Milwaukee safety down with my thumb...works fine. The safetys on their saws work similarly. I bought a bunch of tools during Ryobi Days last year. Ryobi is great for tools you don't use that often or specialty tools that nobody else really makes. I ended up getting more of my heavy use tools in Milwaukee. I need to get a heat gun, though. Still not sure which one I will go with since I'm heavily into both battery platforms. I'll probably go with the Ryobi since I also use the Ryobi hybrid solder station and I'd most likely be using the heat gun for shrink tube.

Ryobi doesn't really have a 12v system besides the drill so I have the Ryobi 18v tools but I am planning on getting some Milwaukee m12 tools because I believe they have hands down the best 12v line. I wonder if the internals of these heat guns (besides the battery connectors) are the same since they are so similar and tti owns both.

    I understand your love for Ryobi which I also love their tools but they cannot compare with Milwaukee.... they are solely designed for homeowner use.... don’t get me wrong they are great tools but not in the same class overall as Milwaukee.... Milwaukee is simply the Best POWER TOOLS on the market hands-down

    • @devilefan
      @devilefan 5 лет назад +1

      DougE .... I don’t relegate anything.... what I am stating is fact.... Ryobi is geared for the homeowner/DIYer Milwaukee is geared for the contractor/professional.... they are both produced by the same company but they are made with different components.... for example my M12 Milwaukee drill driver weighs more than my 18 V Ryobi drill driver....It is because of the way they are made and what they are made of... I am not insulting any brand I am merely saying that certain brands are designed for certain situations... I will agree that Ryobi nailer’s are actually better than Milwaukee‘s.... even so they probably would not last as long due to the fact that Milwaukee is built heavy duty....Again I am just stating fact

    • @devilefan
      @devilefan 5 лет назад +1

      DougE ... It’s the same difference no matter how you slice it.... I recently did a tutorial on my RUclips channel... rich reviews...And I explained the differences between tool brands... it is what it is....Ryobi and Milwaukee are both made by TTI... but it is what they are made with that differs them.... everything Milwaukee is all heavy duty and is designed for heavy use and abuse.... it is why most contractors prefer Milwaukee.... Ryobi makes great tools and can compete to an extent with some of their tools but in the long run they are not going to last nearly as long as Milwaukee.... you can split words and definitions as much as you want but the fact is still fact....That is the point I am trying to make

    I was using the Milwaukee Heat gun to dry my hair and from your video I think the Ryobi would be better because of the wider area that the heat is spread.

    I just want to make myself clear on something to all the negative remarks I get or am going to get.... first of all I base all my facts/opinions on three main points.... my use of the tools in question.... my experiences with them.... and my knowledge of them.... I have used most of the bigger names of POWER TOOLS at one time or another.... and I go by results that I have had with these tools.... I do not claim to be a professional because I am not however I do have knowledge of the tools that I speak of.... and only of the ones I speak of.... four instance I get asked have you ever used Hilty or Festool or Bosch....Bosch I have very limited experience with so I can’t really say anything about it one way or the other....festool/Hilty I have never used so I can’t give any truthful opinion on that at all.... are they better than Milwaukee?.... honestly I don’t know.... i’m sure I will get feedback from people saying that they are.... but again I base my opinions on what I know for sure.... I can’t give an opinion on something I’ve never used.... so I really don’t need and don’t appreciate jackasses jumping on my case because they don’t like my opinions.... first of all because I don’t give an opinion on something I don’t know shit about.... secondly opinions and asses are the same.... everyone has one and they all stink including mine.... you don’t like my opinion or you don’t agree with me that’s fine....Leave your comment and explain why without all the name calling.... there’s no need for that.... I might agree with you I might not.... but that’s what this is for to express yourself and voice your opinion.... it doesn’t need to get into a war of words and insults.... Think about that the next time you leave a remark....Everyone have a good day
