Fair play for heading out that far into the Forth in a wee boat. I used to have a 16ft microplus and day launch from Crail. We headed to the Isle of may once on a glorious day and I remember a nice Pollock getting caught. I remember getting caught once in a good swell and even the 40hp struggled. Stay safe!
Thanks for saying mate, I’ve had a crazy couple of months to be honest and haven’t had the time to edit. I’ve got videos recorded and am hoping to get them put together soon. Definitely will be more coming when I get a little bit of time 👍🎣
Hi fella..what a trip..stunning I love that you go to different areas rather just the local pier like some ;) That boat is something else too!! Gotta be 'Untouchable' to go along with your channel name..nothing else would fit matey!! If you want to see some giant Coleys watch Fishlockers trip to Norway they were catching 10-12ib Coleys..Crazy!!! Keep up the stellar uploads fella :)
What an awesome way to christen her! Can't wait to see what she's going to be called - and to see what adventures you get on together! Keep up the great work - we're all fans of your channel 😃🙌
Thank you Simon, what an awesome boat to christen! There are some serious contenders here for names, it won't be an easy pick, especially when all I can think about is getting back out on her 😂. I appreciate the comment 😄👍
If you like a good days fishing yes. Fish the rocks the left side of the pier , the further you can get over to the left hand side the better but the rocks are steep
@@aidangrassham3054 thanks for saying mate, been really busy the last couple of months but definitely got more videos coming in the future. I’ve been working on editing one for ages and that’ll be out fairly soon now. Definitely going to chill out more with the editing after this vid and try land some nice fish to put on instead 👍🎣🎣
@ great news ! Look forward to seeing it. Yeah that’s true if you look at the top fishing channels the fish locker etc their videos aren’t too over edited just pure fishing with 1 or 2 camera angles and look how big he has become!
Well been thinking bout getting a wee sib, might have just been convinced. The mackarel been few and far between up north but catching loads near home in the forth. Brilliant video as usual 👍🏻keep em coming!
Cheers mate, theyre a bit of fun. i didnt realise cod existed in the north sea before i got one, must have been over 20 cod today ahah. I have to warn you though, once you get one its probably all youll want to do for a solid 3 months straight 😂
Fantastic video. If you don't mind me asking, where did you launch the SIB from in NB? Thinking about purchasing one and just looking to get some ideas where the best launch areas are.
@@shauncameron8320 thanks mate, I appreciate that. It’s not brilliant with free launching around the area. You can probably get away with launching from NB beach but technically I think you have to pay a launching fee. All the slipways around the borders seem to cost to launch. This video was launched from seacliff. There’s a car park before the main car park which you can take a right into along that road. It’s a steep hill to get down with a sib but with some decent launch wheels it’s just about doable. The best launch I’ve found is just north from torness. Free parking and a nice slipway which takes you down to the beach (so is best to launch at high water, especially on the way in to avoid pulling the boat up the beach) but any tide works far better than any of the other free launch areas. If you’re willing to pay upwards of a tenner for slipway use you’ve got loads of options. St abbs makes an unreal day with a sib and the reef just out from Eyemouth is basically guaranteed a cod a drift. Dunbar also has some awesome cod fishing.
Another great video mate always a pleasure to see a new one released! The boat looks like an absolute beauty Have you ever tried top water bass fishing places like this? That shallow side of the island looked like a perfect spot for it, or does the water not get warm enough?
Cheers mate, thats awesome to hear 😁👌. Id LOVE to fish for bass but unfortunately you'd probably have better chance hooking a salmon from where this was filmed 😂. I think they get to around northumberland on the east but then become super sparse. if only this island was somewhere in the south of England 🥲
@@JanZmrzlik thanks mate, I have one filmed for that. Need to edit and won’t be out next. Another one which I’m filming will be first, that should be in the next month
Excellent report mate, your a brave man going that far out to the May, are you based in NB? Im here to loving it got angling Kayak and a inflatable not giving either a go yet, I like that engine will check out the links , keep em coming, great content Thanks Scott
Awesome stuff Scott, im based in Edinburgh but have been fishing Berwick a lot recently. A few good marks ive found off the boat are the east side of Craigleith, the north side of lamb which is and island west of Craigleith and ive found a lethal little reef from seaclliff which ive caught loads of cod at. youll be able to find it on navionics if you go 0.4 nautical miles straight off tantallon. one more- is west of bass rock. large structure there with good cod again. all the best when you get out on them, tight lines 👍
id loveeee to. not many around where i usually fish but ive been saying id get south or at least west all summer to target them. not had the chance yet but praying that trip happens
You have a great channel so the name of the boat should be related to your channel name so after playing around with the words. How about: 'Tough Fisher'.
Excellent videos my pal! Very entertaining and enjoyable for someone new to fishing. Where was that bit in Oban you fished? I’m thinking of taking my son there in the next couple of weeks and fishing/ camping. 🏕️
thanks mate, i appreciate that. Take a look at the puffin centre. there's a campsite down that road and you fish almost straight down to the sea from there 🤞🎣

Since boats traditionally have feminine names how about "Untouched Ursula". Ursula also happens to be a sea goddess.

Great video, loved the chat and info. Call the boat Cilla .
Nice boat 🚢 keep up the videos mate 👍 tight lines
Thanks Muffin, definelty be getting a few more on it soon 👍
