Did you have to change your kickstand when you added air ride? Also, do you have any pics where you mounted everything up for the air ride system? Thanks
I noticed in your latest video the business card for Al Tint in your bag. Was it your bike they had at the Dirty Rotten Biker Fest last May (2021)? If so your bike sounded amazing! Let me know if that was you bike or if you have used them for any of your audio. I may want to pick your brain on a few things.
What year model is the bike and have you done a flash ( ivan flash).... thinking about getting a Vulcan..... but still looking around for the best deal I can get ..... heard that the Vulcan needs a flash to run better? What's your opinion of this ..... thanks in advance
Great looking bike man. I just bought one a week ago, getting ready for the mods. I gotta ask, where did you get that carbon fiber ignition/ tank cover. That shit looks sic. Would love to put that on mine. I got the blue 2012 model.
I'm thinking about putting a sub in my vaquero. Can you actually hear it while riding? Do you get full sound quality now? Right now I have an amp running my speakers and it's clear and loud but as you can imagine it's missing bass
The pipes are awesome! Do you have a vid on mounting them and or how you made the modification? I was wanting to do something very similar but couldn't figure a good way to mount the new pipes to the existing bracket
I dont have a video on it, I had them custom built off the stock pipes at a muffler shop here in Minneapolis. I actually built the tip thats on there now, I had a different one on but I didnt like the style so I built a new one. I just welded tabs onto the top of the tip to mount in the stock exhaust mounting holes.
Had to make a few modifications to the factory mounting bracket. Cut off a few tabs so the headlight bracket would mount up to the factory one. Pretty easy to do and you'll see right away what needs to be cut off when you hold them together.
Love these bikes. Best looking fairing of all the baggers.
Excellent song choice for an audio demo!
Really cool bike! Sounds awesome! Love the color! You really did a good job with it!
Thanks!
I like what you have done with the Vulcan Vaquero 1700 ABS SE and the system sounds great.
MyBudinesd thanks!
10/4. Thank you for the info. I was talking to a welder just the other day about it. I figured that was the case.

The Avon grips…we’re they a direct replacement or did you have to modify them? Also what model are they?
Nice bike!!
That is one hot ass bike
Thanks!
Where did you get that rear brake lever? It looks longer than the factory one? Looks awesome and has to give some more toe room? Thanks
It's the stock brake pedal, I just cut the pad and bracket off, drilled a hole and installed an Avon peg.
@@shaynep45 sweet, thanks. I’m def doing this

Yeah that was my bike. They did all the audio on the bike.
@@shaynep45 Awesome. What speakers do you have in the front faring? Looked like some 6.5 subs and tweeters.
6.5 DD midrange and DD horns below them.
That thing is sick..

Mines a 2015 and yes I have the flash. It has many benefits for the bike. That's the first thing I would do if I bought a Vaquero again!
Wow awesome

Thanks! The carbon fiber parts are actually hydro dipped.
@@shaynep45 that's what I was wondering because I couldn't find them anywhere. Regardless man it looks badass. Good work bro

How did you wire everything & distribution box u used
Everything is wired from the radio to a DSP then to the amps. The front speakers are on 1 amp, the bag speakers on 1, and the subs on 1.
Where did you get your seat at
I've got the same exact bike! how hard was it to change out the radio and get it to work with the controls?
It was pretty simple, go to my video library and I have a video of the wiring for an aftermarket radio.
Sweet bike! Where did you get that air intake? Audio system is sick.
Thunder MFG, Tornado Air Kit. They went out of business though.
was the headlight a direct bolt on or did you need to mod anything?
Had to make a few modifications to the factory mounting bracket. Cut off a few tabs so the headlight bracket would mount up to the factory one. Pretty easy to do and you'll see right away what needs to be cut off when you hold them together.
Sounds great did u do all the work
Yeah I did all of it myself.
Where did you purchase the headlight?
MyBudinesd got it off Amazon, it's a JW Speaker LED light.
that's awesome man. is the audio water resistant?
They are water resistant not 100% waterproof. I've been caught in a few downpours and no issues. The Kenwood is the only thing that is Marine grade.
awesome. thanks
Boss!
this bike shall have rear monoshock suspension
ARE YOU A DJ OR A BIKER??
HAHA, I just like my music!
so you´re both... put some JEFF BECK MUSIC TO BLOW UP THE SPEAKERS RAISE HELLL

Where did you get the mini apes? Did you have to modify the windscreen in order to fit the bars when turning them lock to lock?
Allen LaGrave a guy from the Vaquero owners Facebook page built them, unfortunately he passed away. No I didn't need to modify the windscreen.
