You taught me a lot about cutting hair and I'm glad I could enjoy your videos while you were around 💙 The climate has changed on beardbrand. Sometimes you have to know when a season is over and I think that you do. You were doing videos for beardbrand when beardbrand was still good.
I will miss you, Mahesh! I’m doing much better now, but I have struggled with depression and anxiety all of my life. I hit a bout with them that lasted around two years and watching your Beardbrand videos during that time made me feel oddly alive. There was something about your character that put a sensation of hope and relaxation in me. I know what you were doing was more of a tutorial, as you put it, and I’m sure it felt quite repetitive but in some ways you contributed to me finding the strength to hold on. I had other points of happiness in my regular life that also contributed, but for someone with depression and anxiety disorders, being alone is the worst of ideas. When I was physically alone, I would force myself to get on RUclips and watch videos with you or Greg Berzinsky and that brought me more peace than anything else could have during my alone times. If it wasn’t one of you or Greg, I wouldn’t bother watching it. Nothing against the rest at Beardbrand as they’re all great guys, but the two of you just had something that soothed my inner demons. I didn’t mean to say this much. I just kept feeling the need to expound and let you know that through something so ordinary, you personally had an impact on the healing process of some random stranger on the opposite side of the world from you. So thank you for that and I will continue to check in on your new ventures.
While I have enjoyed your barbering videos immensely, I just like your energy, heart and what you have to say about health and yoga. In fact you were the only person I enjoyed on Beardbrand. Hey Mahesh, you are an irreplaceable loss to Beardbrand. Beardbrand has got many good, even very good barbers but you are unique with your insight and depth of wisdom for trimming beards (and hair!). You have the ability to see how a customers beard (and hair) will progress and grow in future and you trim with that in mind and you explain it very well to them. I watch your videos over and over!!! If I had the bucks, I would also, like others have done, travel to you so that I can have some Mahesh guidance with a beard trim and hair cut. Hey Mahesh, you are an irreplaceable loss to Beardbrand. Beardbrand has got many good, even very good barbers but you are unique with your insight and depth of wisdom for trimming beards (and hair!). You have the ability to see how a customers beard (and hair) will progress and grow in future and you trim with that in mind and you explain it very well to them. I watch your videos over and over!!! If I had the bucks, I would also, like others have done, travel to you so that I can have some Mahesh guidance with a beard trim and hair cut. Thanks for your dedication to the beard cause, I will follow your other future videos and podcasts. ♥️
