So thankful for this video, Mahesh. I just had a visit to the barber yesterday and, as usual, wasn't quite satisfied. And so this video pops up in my recommended. Synchronizity, eh? Ended up trying to replicate your beard in this vid and it turned out to be the best trim I've ever had. As a fellow baldie I can now do all of my trimming myself. Empowering. You've got yourself a follower.
My decent Van Dyke and wispy weak jawline took four months to grow. This guy grows a fine beard in 4 weeks! Due to my slow growth, I'm terrified to go near it with clippers in case I screw-up and have to shave it all off. Barber - who was asked to tidy without removing length - proceeded to chop off about a months growth, so I'm now wary about that, too. Anyway, really useful video.
RUclips sent me here, probably because I've watched so many of your Beardbrand videos lol. The short beard really suits you and I'd definitely be interested in your tips for growing an epic moustache. I keep my beard short, about 6mm and I'm going for a first time beardstache and need all the help I can get. Also subscribed!
I'm trying to grow a Mahesh moustache, the way you had it before the pandemic. Please keep on showing how you maintain it, as you grow it back and also what products you use to manage it. I'm grateful for your help and the peace you transmit. 👍🏻
Thanks a million, Mahesh, for sharing such valuable information. You're a heck of a Master! As usual, I mostly freehand everything, except for the mustache or the scruffy look. When sculpting my beard, I freehand by making long, smooth, and steady strokes. A word of caution: one must have steady hands. The result is a uniform well-sculpted beard because it removes all the flyways. Keep up the extraordinary job.
Thanks for the tips! Just realised you're from Beardbrand. Thought I'd seen you somewhere before! ..been watching some of those beardbrand videos. Always invaluable for tips and tricks - and what a master of your craft you are. The short beard looks good.....but you also look great with a long beard.
I just put my clippers on 1&1/2 and go sideways and everything is nice and tidy. I also use zero gapped Clippers to get around the mustashe area, under the neck and read sideburns for that crispy clean look. Good job and good video.
Mahesh, please let me know where you are ,if you are still in Austin? I live about 2.5 hrs from Austin and would love to drive there and get you to trim my beard. I’m 74 and have grown a beard for the first time in my life!
Hi Mahesh. Glad to see you back with a beard content. I was wondering on how you trimmed the neckline so close to the jawline? Is there any specific reasons behind it? How would it fare when growing out a longer beard?
Hi Mahesh! Hope you are well and family. Ive been growing my beard now for a month and half. Sides can be trimmed on a grade 8. My goal is to try and get it to Carlos' beard. But my chin hair is less bulky. Did he let the chin hair grow and the just keep the sides trimmed to achieve that look? I was think of keep the sides at a grade 8 and just maintain the chin hair with scissors, what do you think?
Thanks Mahesh. I've grown a lockdown beard, first time I have ever grown facial hair. Really liked the short and tidy look. My biggest concern is the neckline, I was always led to believe from other beard care videos that you don't follow the jaw line and it should be just above the Adams Apple but yours looked quite a bit higher than that?
Thanks for reply Mahesh, appreciate it. Have to say growing this beard has been a really positive distraction in this situation we all find ourselves in. Maybe one day I'll take the trip South from Bristol to visit your shop. Stay well.
Hi Mahesh great video! I’m currently growing my beard ( 2 months currently) I’ve not done any form of maintenance so far, would you recommend just to leave it grown until the barbers shops are back open on July 4th? or attempt and probs fail ? my beard is very difficult to trim (according to the few barbers I’ve recently visited) because my hairs grow in any and every direction. Cheers - Leight :)
How did you have the courage for the head tats? Id love to get one on my right side, but I'm scared. I shave bald at 54 and have gray/white hair like you.
Mahesh, Excellent Tidy Up Video. The New Beard and Mustache are Fabulous. Thanks as Always for the Helpful Hints, the Open Heart, and Kind Spirit. Be Well, Brother ❤️🤓🙏❤️
Sorry sir im just an amateur here. I know youre a professional barber, i saw so many videos about how to cut/trim beards and mostly they say dont cut too high that neckline and you do the opposite:D (probably it depends on what kind of style you want to achieve) Im growing as well and i dont want to cut too high but now im confused little bit. :D Soon ill trim it/shape it and i need some professional advice. Respect: Peter.
I want you to tell me if there are recommended beardoil and beardbarm. And which thing is the trimer which I used for the second third with the latest Beard Trim video?
All this male body hair is a bloody nuisance really i know we have it for a reason but it's the constant attention it needs with cutting and trimming in all the weird places it grows. Even when you shave it all Off buddhist monk style it grows back so fast constantly needing attention 😬 then if you don't cut any of your body hair you become Chewbacca 😁 Cutting body hair is such a mundane chore i guess that's why i never pursued a career in barbering.

Manesh, I just love you, man. you´ve saved my beard life!
It's kind and considerate of you to show us the same technique with the bigger clipper, thank you.
Shorter beard looks great on you, and knocks off a few years as well! Love the fullness in the chin area and shorter on the sides.
As a new Barber, this is a GREAT demo on a short beard trim...THANKS!!

Thanks Mahesh, I was looking for this exact video for so long. Really good explaining and showing the little bits. Spot on.
so glad to see you back on the tube
missed your face.....
Glad to see you on here brotha!! I'm digging the shorter beard in you
Mahesh, you look awesome with the short beard. I lost mine altogether. Strange days. Good seeing you.
Hello Mahesh, I'm a fan here in the Philippines. Thanks for your videos I'm learning alot. Always keep safe.
Perfect timing, ready for a trim but slightly nervous about getting the jaw line even. Inspired to try now though! Thank you!
The shorter beard looks really great 👍
There is nothing more satisfying than setting a sharp neckline. Great video amigo 🤙🏼
I just put my clippers on 1&1/2 and go sideways and everything is nice and tidy. I also use zero gapped Clippers to get around the mustashe area, under the neck and read sideburns for that crispy clean look.
Good job and good video.
Mahesh, I really liked your look with the Long Beard. Grow it back ok
Bro that is an amazingly sharp hair trimmer that you used to line the neck and cheeks. What machine is it?
I'd like to know too! Nice little detailing tool.
TONDEO Eco-XS ?
Gilette Styler
Mahesh, please let me know where you are ,if you are still in Austin? I live about 2.5 hrs from Austin and would love to drive there and get you to trim my beard. I’m 74 and have grown a beard for the first time in my life!
Woah last time I saw you, you had the big beard. Looks quite different now , looks good :)
Pretty random but I dig your frames.. what brand/model are they?
Thanks Mahesh really appreciate the video!
Like it that he doesn't make hard-man faces while he shaves. "I'm a man shaving my beard"!
Man like Mahesh...I totally messed my beard up. But hey ho, it will work itself out...
Good to see you Mahesh. I thought I'd lost you.
The beard looks nice on you. Hsve you ever tried dyeing it?
Thank you Mahesh^^ Much love👍✌
The amount of times I've had to shave my beard off because I've messed up the neckline!
If I'm not mistaken this is the chin strap style of beard. It's not past your jawline but right on it.
Hi Mahesh. Glad to see you back with a beard content. I was wondering on how you trimmed the neckline so close to the jawline? Is there any specific reasons behind it? How would it fare when growing out a longer beard?
I was wondering the same exact thing.
Thanks for the helpful tips. Should the cheek line always be parallel with neck line? The angle of the lines is the most difficult for me.
You're the best 🔥 practical solutions , awesome man 🔥 🔥🔥
Very helpful, also, how do you trim a mustache with a middle part?
I'm gonna have a go! Thanks for the very useful video. 🌱
Nice one ....this is the first time I have seen you with a short beard
Iam attempting a long beard
What trimmers would you recommend
Thanks
Wow your beard is a lot shorter than the beard brand days..looks good
Great trim! Thanks for the tips

Man less is better he knows this can’t wait for his beard to be full
Too high neck line don't look good, but it's my opinion!
Very helpful. Thank you!
with all respect to mahesh, don't you think the neck line is much to high? shouldn't it be just above adam's apple?
With that low of a beard, a high line looks way better. As the beard grows longer, he can drop the line accordingly.
Alright! Looks good, Mahesh!! Going to grow mine back out for a little bit, then either do short on the sides or a goatee.
All about preference, there is no law or hard rule
Thanks for reply Mahesh, appreciate it. Have to say growing this beard has been a really positive distraction in this situation we all find ourselves in. Maybe one day I'll take the trip South from Bristol to visit your shop. Stay well.
If you want a long beard, you should shave right above the Adams apple. To get more "fullness". If you want a short beard it does not matter
Love the neat-looking mustache!
Great video man, how long is your hair grade 1? Want to shave my head and like your length
Great video! Would like to see more of these in the future! Where can I get that stylish looking green came?
This video is super useful
This guy is quite knowledgeable and skilful with clippers, you should think about going in to barbering. 💈
Great channel!
What’s the brand name of the detailer you’re using? I wanna get one for my boyfriend. Thank you!
Loads of love and success to you brother 💓✌️🙏🏼 💯💌 from India ✅

Hi Mahesh great video! I think your next video should be how too trim a unibrow 😉
Oh...what detailer can you recommend to shaping up the beard?
Wahl detailers
Namaskar Maheshji. Is this how you blended in the your sides when your beard was longer?
Not really no, if it’s longer I wouldn’t do it like this
How did you have the courage for the head tats? Id love to get one on my right side, but I'm scared. I shave bald at 54 and have gray/white hair like you.
I’m very well covered in ink, so the head wasn’t a big issue. X
Mahesh, Excellent Tidy Up Video. The New Beard and Mustache are Fabulous. Thanks as Always for the Helpful Hints, the Open Heart, and Kind Spirit. Be Well, Brother ❤️🤓🙏❤️
I have almost the exact beard. How about using a scissors on the mustache?
You look very good.
Sorry sir im just an amateur here. Like I stated I’m keeping the beard this length, so I’m following the line I want to maintain.
I appreciate the tips.
So flawless,.
Great job.
thanks bro 👊🙂
Nice video. Have you ever thought of going into barbering professionally? I reckon you could be good at it.
👊😆
Thanks
Is this post supposed to be a joke? He’s probably the best barber in the UK 😄 check his videos on beard brand 🙏
What’s the difference with a curly beard?
Yours will look fuller
I want you to tell me if there are recommended beardoil and beardbarm. And which thing is the trimer which I used for the second third with the latest Beard Trim video?
Missing the super long beard. :(
Thanks. Which detailer do you recommend?
Wahl normally
Thank you....
Swastika tattoo? 0:30
😳
Not a big fan of the chin strap high neck line style, but thanks for the video. Keep it up.
My beard hair is thin in diameter so I grew a goatee
Need to tidy up that unibrow
Bravo!
Man Mahesh is an Indian name, but this guy doesn't look Indian at all lol
Wondering if he’ll take more off the beard than mahesh asked for ? Lol
Thanks for the likes boys
Your neckline is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too high.
Thanks for the tutorial looks great! @Tottenhamstreetboy. (Instagram). Enjoy all your vids and postings!!

What ... Why is Mahesh sporting a short beard ... nooooooooooo
I am suprised you went too high
Looked better before he touched it tbh
Isn’t there an unwritten rule to not shave the neck beard?
