All Aquaponics keepers like to have a crystal clear water in order to be able to see the fish at any time. Mother Nature on the other side allows the ecosystem to evolve with time and if the conditions are good for algae development you will quickly find your water turning green or the walls and bottom of your fish tank full of algae. Again this is not a real problem for your fish even if the algae will make the O2 concentration fluctuate but they will be in direct competition with your plants for the nitrate and other minerals consumption. In this video I will show you the easiest way to avoid algae in aquaponics and to keep a crystal clear water. Some technics involve specific fish or snails but here we will see that we can fix this issue very easily.
