And now he feels like Adesanya himself is in the dark place, feeling off, and he thinks by taking such a big break Adesanya will just waste the great talent that he's got. Apart from the come to daddy trolling (language barrier for jokes is important) the rest of Alex speech was actually very honest and respectful. He said you pulled him out of a dark time in life by offering him a challenge, and he wants to do the same, offer you some extra motivation, because he considers you a great warrior.
nope, what he meant was Adesanya didn't pull him out of some dark scenario but rather Adesanya made fun of Alex, he said in one interview that he doesn't watch him or his fights but he(alex) on the other hand watches him and talks shit about him, but who cares (israel said) he is just gonna get old and will be in a bar telling stories to others that he(alex) once beat him while I've (israel) accomplished something great and bigger than he ever did. This is what triggered Alex and he made up his mind to switch to mma and get the belt and as we all already know HE DID THAT.
Alex was actually showing you the greatest amount of respect as a fighter and making sure that you get your motivation back. It was a sign of respect for someone that he thinks might be suffering right now.
@@Atlas92936 Can't discount Izzy even if Alex would have the advantage. That said what hurts Izzy is probably having gotten his ass whooped by Strickland after all that heavy barrage of trash talking from both sides, so... The thing is, I don’t even think it takes someone who speaks Portuguese to understand that. Izzy just took it the wrong way for some reason. Probably pent up emotions on his part.
Izzy here are some of the things ALEX said. “Izzy took me out of a dark place. I was at a bar and he motivated me to comeback.” He is such an amazing athlete.” “The sport is better with him in it.” He extended his hand out to me and now I want to do the same for him”

Amigo, N FOI ISSO.
Funny how the world turns around, now it's Adesanya who's sitting on the couch, watching Alex achieve the things he dreamed of, like becoming a double champion. Now Izzy points at the TV and says "I already beat this guy once" that's poetic!
@@Itscomplicatedaf24Alex got fast tracked. He didn't have to face Marvin, Jared, Roman, or Whittaker to get to Izzy. And we've all seen what happens when Alex faces someone with a God tier chin and can wrestle like Marvin. Based on the timing of Alex training takedown defense and grappling defense. There's no way he would beat Marvin via decision. That's the only issue I have with people bragging about the guy being 2 division champion. Pereira was saying a lot of respectful things about Adesanya to motivate him, to help kindle that fire again. Even the "Come to daddy" was the slap in the face after the motivational speech to get Adesanya fired up. This is a friendly rivalry to Pereira. Adesanya, you can tell clearly harbors resentment. The "I don't like you, you don't like me" in their first ufc fight after Pereira just said "Respect". And look at how hard he was rooting for Jiri now.

Oh like Alex was sitting at a bar and lost his mind because Izzy said something about him in an interview yrs after their fights. Why did he still care? Any Izzy fans out there? Any real Izzy fans? Some that aren’t ashamed? Please help me out. How do you feel about Izzy painting his nails, mouth feeding dogs, jerking off dogs, not attending his last post conference, talking crazy shit and dancing on his oops but literally can’t handle an ounce of his own medicine ?
I’ve come to the realization that Izzy fans paint their nails as well. Not one has ever answered my question. lol.
Izzy actually turning into the guy on the couch saying “I beat that guy that one time.”
Adesanya : i wish he spoke english
Pereira : adesanya come to daddy
Pereira just make every izzy's dream becoming true.
One day Adesanya is going to go golfing and he's going to see Alex in the distance with his golf club and golfing hat.
You can tell how good the fights are by how awake Izzy is 😂
7:03 the pain on Izzy’s face bruh 😮
Same for me, I dont hate Pereira i just love Jiri
Stole his double champ dream!
@@dlantomaz9390 Makes Izzy's KO even greater.
That's what people don't understand. The more Alex wins is the better it'll reflect on Izzy's record over time.
@@thatt-shirtguy9669least delusional Izzy fan
@@thatt-shirtguy9669exactly 3-1 . Soon to be 4-1
We all thought it was early stoppage.. but jiri has said it multiple interviews in and out of the octagon that the stoppage was good and he was out
Jiri doesn't seem like the type to just blatantly lie about that, so you're right, there's no reason to not take his word for it. He potentially saved Jiri years of his career because you can't play around with Alex. If he kept going it could've been a career changing knockout. Izzy should be thankful for Goddard honestly.
@@kurtglathar5162 He was out while Alex was mounting him. He was 1 punch away from needless damage. I think it was an excellent stoppage
Pure respect. Alex Perreira vs Isreal Adesanya at 205 will shatter the PPV numbers
What they time traveling?
@@cceproductions8435he means the weight. Not UFC 205 lol
Izzy face just changes as alex pops up on his tv 😂
Izzy getting ptsd flashbacks when Alex drops jiri😂😂
LUVVVV how Izzy is so relaxed ,having fun being a fan of mma. Haters will never affect this man.
He’s emotional and salty
Facts
@michaela8121 How? He's lost in kickboxing, lost at lhw, and lost the title twice. And Izzy hasn't changed!
Your just mad that Strickland will neverrr wht Izzy has done.
“I found out about it and I’m made out of sticks” Izzy is funny
Izzy really taking that 1 win and running away. This is the first time I've seen a fighter turn down a free title shot. 😂
Hold on there champ. When was he offered this free title shot and when did he turn it down? It hasn't happened yet. At the top level you are going to win and you are going to lose, Alex has had 10 losses in his fighting career, and Israel has also had 10 losses. Neither of them are afraid of losing.
@@Storm4155 C'mon man, Jamahal is still injured and still can't fight anytime soon. You don't think if Izzy said 'OK LET'S DO THIS!' the UFC wouldn't book that fight? Also he clearly just dismissed the fight saying, 'Last time I remember u were sleeping', he didn't accept.
why will he say that when he just announced a break not even up to two months, after fighting 3 times in 14 months, you want him to get knoecked out right? so that you can laugh@@MyLordAndSavior
Izzy's top priority may be to run it back against against Strickland first. Or he well may even retire. Getting that loss against Strickland back might be the only thing that keeps him in the sport. @@MyLordAndSavior
The hate y’all have for IZZY makes y’all say just anything cos I can recall IZZY saying he wants to take some time off so why should he jump on and fight someone he just kOed just cos he called him out IZZY LIVES IN YALLS HEAD RENT FREE 😂😂😂
Alex’s career just transcended the Izzy/Alex rivalry. With that win Izzy just became a small chapter within Alex’s story.
Things Alex did that Izzy could not seem to have way more relevance now.
1 beat Sean
2 beat Jan
3 won world titles in kickboxing
4 became a champ/champ in the UFC
5 has a 3-1 record over Izzy
6 beat 4 world champs in his first 7 UCF fights
7 had those 7 fights in 24 months
Not too sure if he is that salty about anything in his record.
He has also gone from strength to strength compared to Izzy’s run since Izzy KOed him.
You guys will always find a way to discredit a black man.
face it the best fighters have always been us get over it.
Jon Jones francis dc anderson mighty mouse izzy Ali mike tyson george forman
and the list goes on. COPE
The only person I have ever discredited on that list is saying Mike Tyson was a bully and never fought back from being down in a fight. Except maybe Bruno had in a bit of trouble.
I don’t think I even discredited Izzy, I was just pointing out that Izzy is no longer Alex’s whole story. With Alex’s second title Izzy has become just a small part of Alex’s story.
@@paulbarrett3085don’t listen to salty old man Teddy Atlas comments. You don’t have to start losing for it to become a fight. By that logic young Jon Jones is 0 wins
@@catchwreck928this idiot really brought race into it 😂. Alex’s career is better than Izzy’s its just cold hard facts. Before you ask I’m
Black too dumbass.
@@catchwreck928I'm black stop using the race card because i agree with everything he said. You are just mad at facts to why you bring up race. You can't even counter the argument. Just go straight to race.....
Adesanya, Pereira has more respect for you than you think, he said you are a talented, competitive guy, and talented guys like that can't stay still for long. He wanted to rescue you and thanked you for encouraging him to go to places other than glory.
Izzy's face when he heard "a bar somewhere" is now thinking "....I manifested this?.." lmao
What Pereira said about you was respectful. Have someone around you that speaks Portuguese to translate it. Pereira is a wholesome guy.
If they don’t become homies after retirement this world is doomed💀
I love the respect yet competitive spirit in this rivalry. Love your Card reactions Izzy keep them up 🔥
❤ ya Izzy. A lot of people hate on you because you’re 10x more successful than they ever will be. F*ck the noise brother
I want the Alex rivalry arc to never end
7:41 He saw this as a declaration of love for Adesanya. You could see that Adesanya was emotional
Bromance is real
Izzy misunderstood Alex. He was merely chirping some to motivate Izzy.
But also, the reply from izzy was him being the guy in the bar, going "hey I beat that guy once" - the irony.
