Tales from the Crypt being on youtube due to rights issues is a blessing in disguise. The "Showdown" episode might just be one of the finest half-hours in all of Anthology TV!
Im here for tales from the crypt getting its flowers hopefully this can revive the franchise....well that and if they can sort the licencing issues out
Tales From The Crypt is in my opinion one of the best horror anthology series to ever exist.
I remember watching Are You Afraid of the Dark. I was a little older and not scared of it, but it was well made.
Even tho i watched the Saturday morning cartoons, my 1st experience with horror are horror movies and TV shows like Tales from The Crypt, Eerie Indiana, Unsolved Mysteries.
Still, cartoons back then didn't hold back since there were some cool shows like Tales from the Cryptkeeper, Swat Kats, Tiny Toons with their Halloween specials, the 1st episode of Batman TAS with Man-Bat.
90s was a gateway for everyone when it comes to horror, both adults and kids got that experience
Mine was Goosebumps, the episode with the yard gnomes fucked me up as a kid.
Loved “Are You Afraid of the Dark” enjoyed their first movie too
Erie, Indiana was so good.
I’m old school the twilight zone. Tales from the darkside
Friday the 13th the Series 1987-1990 cemented by horror fandom.
The one show i was hooked into the world of horror is the X-files because it got me into the world of sci-fi and horror

It's crazy to think how mainstream horrid gotten by the 90s especially by the end. Horror was never that mainstream and I don't feel like has been ever since or at least not the good stuff.
