- Testing out the new Husqvarna 592XP chainsaw through some Ash trees. We handed over the new Husqvarna 592XP chainsaw to the giant from HillbillynationUK. These trees had ash dieback so this was a section of the clearing job. Watch to see how the new 592XP handles the work.

Use the same hammer I do for pounding wedges. Nice running saw as well. 😀
I'll suggest going with a steeper angle face cut when dealing with ash as they a particularly prone to barber chairing. Now we don't see the actual trees and it worked out fine, but every school teaches this and the death toll caused by sub-par work with ash in last 20 years is substantial. There are quite a few reports available on these ash deaths. Stay safe
It screams, dam good running saw
really great video close footage well done 👍
Cheers Nev 👍🏼
Veri Nice.
Thank you 👍🏼
That is some quality felling mate!
Thank you 🤩
Very clean job boss
Good to see the saw doing what it was meant for. Sounds like it has plenty grunt. I was laughing though, when I sat my first saw test in the early 80’s . If your left thumb wasn’t round the handle it got whacked by the trainer! Took me a day and several whacks to get out the habit. Never forgotten that lesson 👍
If I were in charge of that felling operation that fellow would be off site immediately. No PPE at all that I can see. Where's his gloves and jacket? If the bits of him that I can see have no protection, then it's reasonable to assume the bits of him I can't see have none either.
This is not a good demonstration video.
@@eamonryan2198 we got “raided “ by the health and safety once. We were doing a thinning job at the time. Most of the cutters had full PPE on, a few didn’t. We got chatting to the HnS guys, as long as cutters had boots and helmets ( with muffs and visors) and safety trousers. They were happy. They deemed gloves to be optional as when they got wet, they got slippy. The jackets I’ve seen are hi viz only, no protection. Jackets may have changed since my cutting days though
Never been required to wear gloves or jacket on a job in 12 years I've been cutting chaps muffs boots eye pro and a hat that's all I've ever been required and it's all I require from my guys.
@@wildhorseoutdoors7659 As a property owner doing my own, I do whatever I wish.
Your trainer would love it when I run the saw cow handed.
I'm not convinced, sounds peaky and strato'd of course but it's Huskys big saw now. Gotta learn to like it. Glad I got a 395 and a 3120 in the shed though
I'm happy with my 500i, I'll pass on this one.
395 XP, still the finest big felling saw ever made, time will tell if there is a new king in town
I would say one of the most powerful, the weight, chain tensioner and outboard clutch make it less then ideal in lots of situations
It takes 92cc’s to pull a 20” bar and chain.??
The 500 series saws have definitely been something else for husqvarna. Auto-tune issues, hot start issues, no start issues, bearing issues, air leak issues, over heating issues, air filter issues. I have a ported XS661 I only use it when I need a 32” bar or longer. It’s a very strong saw and very heavy just like what you see here.
@@RI-td3gv a man who knows what he’s talking about. Feel the same
Dam good Job nice work
Thank you 👍🏼
Very satisfying
Thank you
They sure cut nice out of the box
That is one cracking ssaw
Awesomeness
Best word ever 😂
Witch camera are you using ? Sound ist perfect 👍🏻
I like your video because your video is similar to mine.
The saw sounds really good. Gonna get one as soon as they come to the US. I use a 395 currently.
Awesome, any word on dates yet?
@@MachineryNation my dealer hasn’t got any info yet but the husqvarna website says sometime in the spring.
@@GM-nm5sb but did they say which spring? Haha
@@MachineryNation better be next spring lol. They had at least one of the saws at a logging expo here in Virginia last May but then they said they couldn’t show it to anyone and just kept it in the trailer.
@@GM-nm5sb oh, that was annoying. It will be worth the wait!
Please can you do this with a Stihl ms 661 ?
That thing eat´s wood !
She is a beauty 😎
Thumb and gunning sight?
I will say i like that he is doing alot bore cuts, really shows off a saws true potential when boring, even if its just ash.
Tasty!!!😁😁😁
Stumps high enough
what would like to no is how have you managed to get one in the uk ??? there no where i can find stocking them
We were sent one to test last July and the first stock was due last August but due to how ever many delays they are still a bit of a myth 😂
@@MachineryNation your telling me haha iv had enough of waiting so im looking at just getting a 572 instead
It runs that bar like a boss. I gotta ask though. What is the point in such a small bar on that saw?
Thank you 💪🏼 you can put bigger bars on them if you need to. That was a 24” bar and it felled a 42” ash tree. More control and less weight with a smaller bar when felling and then bang on a bigger bar for ringing it up later on 👍🏼

I was born in the backwoods
Of a two-bit nowhere town
Fathered up some rock 'n' roll (baby)
So your mothers could boogie down
I ain't whistling Dixie
No I'm a rebel with a groove
All around the world the go 'round and 'round
When they dig on my new stainless steel sound hell, yeah
I'm said a lumberjack oh, baby
And I'm gonna cut you down to size
I'm a lumberjack now baby
And you're the one you're the one that gets my prize
When you hear my motor running
You know I surely be coppin' a rise
Oh! So I'm gonna crank it up down the alley and jack it
Woo
I'm a lumberjack now baby
I'm a lumberjack now baby
I'm a lumberjack now baby
Ohh I'm a lumberjack now baby
But I ain't jacked my lumber baby
Since my chainsaw you
Whether you like it or whether you don't woo
That's the way we like it
Tu coupe pas la bonne saison pourquoi.
395xp класс 👍
Any vids on the 585 coming
Hopefully soon 🙌🏻
You did it all wrong.
Don't you just love comments that start like that ? Just kidding guys. You did well. Happy Days :-)
kette ist stumpf ... späne viel zu fein
Jos gandos
husqvarna is slow geting them out i went one
Dose anyone know if it’s better than the 661 cm ?
Both good saws (disclaimer we are a dealer for both Stihl and Husqvarna)
Looks like the 592 leaves the 661 for dead and drink less petrol 💪
👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍❤️👀👍
Why are you guys cutting them like that don’t you do the humble card that way you don’t waste wood Over in America we never cut wood like that unless it’s a homeowner I guess the trees are a lot bigger over here though Takes a lot more time to get the water on the ground less board feet per truckload
Which bit do you think we are doing wrong?
The notch takes over a foot of the most important part of the log. Great cutting for firewood 👍
@@philipjohnston1749 fair enough 👍🏼 thank you for your feedback.
un altra volta arrotala meglio e poi fai il video
Sorry no English.
Hope he dont cut trees for a living.
