I love my Gentle tarot and my Future Ancestors. I’ve worked with both this month as I think they are so conducive to self-care. I’m planning to finish up with my new Llewelyn Tarot. I recently acquitted the Heart of Fairies and am going to use it in November. I got it on eBay from a sweet seller. I missed the Tree Whisperer, darn! This was such a fun video. Thanks for sharing.
32:38 The curious creature deck is also very Sagittarius deck for its humorous. I’m a Sun & Rising Sagie, the first time I saw this deck was used by a tarot reader, I bought it immediately.
I love all of them. Just cant connect with Morgan Greer. too many primary colors in each card 😅it throughs me off balance. but I do appreciate the 70s looks. thanks Dawn Micheal for another awesome video ❤

Lovely selection! I only wish The Green Witch Tarot was diverse (and others that are not) - then it would be perfect. Unfortunately it is a deal breaker for me. The creators need to create more decks that are diverse and inclusive of all the peoples of this world :)
also, the Nicoletta C deck. That's a wonderful thing that you know yourself enough to keep the deck out. I'd probably manage to avoid work like that for a long time. X;D

Your favs are more than my total collection... I've missed some decks though, but well , you can't put everything in that basket. I haven't seen the Hardy tarot and the animals devine on other channels I think. They are both very cool decks! I wish the animal one was still in print.

I haven't heard any mention of a reprint of Animal Divine, but maybe the creator will consider that after the reprint of the Fairytale Tarot. We can hope! :)
I have to laugh at how confused I get by one of your bags. i used the same fabric of your Heart of Fairies bag for my Pagan Otherworlds. I am always surprised when you pull something other than the PO from that bag!
I am really waffling about the Hardy Tarot. I keep seeing it and it is the best looking Golden Dawn tradition influenced deck I have seen. I just can't decide if I need another Golden Dawn tradition deck, I have the RWS and the Thoth as well as couple of other straight up Golden Dawn modern decks (G.D. decks all tend to be kind of ugly to me...all the colors being opposite of the color wheel... the "flashing colors" idea). Every time you show it I am so tempted. I think I should probably just get the Hardy tarot :)
It really is one of my favorite decks and one I use all the time. If the artwork speaks to you (which it doesn't to everyone) I would have highly recommend it. :)

Love this one! I always like your deck collection videos, though I'm a little more pick and choosy these days, but this was so helpful, especially with where I am in my deck collecting-I honestly have too many fucking decks for my purposes 😂 and also too little money, so I've got a box I need to hurry up and list and probably some more hard decisions to make. But one things that I would consider "missing" for purposes that I really want to have access to is a couple of decks that speak more to my actual ancestry / childhood (e.g., Northern European people, woodsy stuff). I've focused a lot on representation and having diverse decks, and I love that about my collection, but I think in going "shrug" at a lot of the more Celtic/Germanic sorts I'm missing a connection to my own lineage, whoopsies! I see a couple in here that might really work well for that purpose of ancestor connection. Since I actually have done a lot of healing around working with the complexity of ancestors as a white person and acknowledging that there can be a lot of good shit in those traditions, even when unfortunately they do sometimes get appropriated for harmful or bypassing purposes, it would make sense to have a deck for that... but also there's something to the childhood energy of totally being a little white kid, presumed to be a girl, who rambled about in the woods and in creeks and such, and liked reading things like Beatrix Potter and Where the Wild Things Are and all those stories that had kind of colored pencil sketchy illustrations, that might be found in some of the animal / nature decks. Thanks for giving me some options to consider ❤ I also LOVE the Tree Whisperer omgomogg going to Google right now don't know how I missed that one, to see if there's still a preorder! And ps, great to meet you at NWTS, will totally hit you up next time I'm in the metro area for a more chill hangout 🙂
Love the video. What deck(s) do you think are best for in-your-face jarring messages…I know you’ve mentioned the Black Lily and the Barbara Walker. Any others?
Those are the two that comes to mind and the ones I use most for the kind of energy. I do also like the Stunning Tarot although it doesn't have quite the same energy. But the Black Lily and Barbara Walker as the ones I most recommend for that type of work. :)
It is so neat how different decks can mean different things to different people. Morgan Greer for me is very feminine, calls to my matrilineal ancestors.
