you need new door hinges or used ones with no crash damages
When you are installing the window of the door, first install the plastic pin with the middle dowel in the window. Then the window with the pin clicks in the holder. Why the pin is in two parts is only when you dismantle the door.

Well done on this, looking good already!, I've a recent VW T-Roc which i repaired, on mine there was an airbag module on the "transmission" tunnel, dont forget about this one (if it exisits on the ID3), i suspect it does as the basic frame is very similar to the T-Roc. Also the front radar, dont worry too much about replacing unless absolutly necessary - as it has component protection on it! - which was a complete pain to sort, also be careful if trying to code with VCDS, as I managed to mess up the top radar in the windscreen, which ment I needed to calalibrate ADAS, again a complete pain,
ps the bottom radar can be recalibrated by holding a board (or wall) 1200mm from the radar in VCDS (or was it ODIS?)

Great video again. I would have recommended the airbag team they did my car. I have a Audi A1 2022 and I am trying to find a arm rest between the front seats but I can not find the part number have you come across some where to find this?

Just ring your local dealer, they are usually very helpful. Or if you are retrofitting parts.-. link.-. 24, will point you in the right direction, especially if you know a cars reg no. (maybe you need the VIN), which has the retrofitted part on it that you need (apols for the dodgy link TY think im advertising)

Some scrote smashed ours last night and the glass companies don't carry them as stock and don't have a clue as to when they might get one in.
All sorted now. Found one at a vehicle dismantlers. £58 delivered for a genuine OE window as opposed to the unspecified date (glass not yet available) from the glass fitters through the insurance with £75 excess.
Can you get my strip lights to work, because VW can’t. 😅
