Can handling system: small cans - Factory acceptance test - Lan Handling Technologies

We designed a can line (1200 cans/min) for wet pet food in small cans, which interfaces with mini shuttles to retorts.
The challenge with tiny cans like these, is getting them perfectly flat in the retort basket. The top guide combined with the pitch adjustment in the robot tool ensures perfect placement. The line also monitors its grippers' performance, the sensors register if any cans are missed. This results in a reliable high capacity can line.
