I never heard this before, but I’m glad it’s not just me. I had exactly this experience on the Rustler 10. Skiing hard and fast through chopped up snow the tip of the outside ski would fold and get stuck in the snow, resulting in the ski releasing from the boot. This happened to me three times with the Rustler 10; never with any other Ski. One of them resulted in a minor injury.

Agree on this assessment 100%. I was really worried about the new versions sacrificing the playfullness and turnability off-piste but I was 100% wrong. I had 2 1/2 seasons on my 2021 Rustler 9s and had to replace them after they were stolen with the 2024s in January. I am very happy with the changes they made.

Im between rustler 9 and declivity 92ti for 70% groomers and 30% moguls and bumps .. what is the best ski in your opinion?
The Rustler will definitely be more forgiving and playful in the moguls, but the Declivity will be better on groomers.
Currently on 3 year old Rustler 10. Im skiing more moguls now 50/50 vs groomers. will the new Rustler 10 take me there or should I consider something else?
Rustler 10 is still great, Ripstick 96 Black should also be on your list little more maneuverable in bumps
