What it really needs is a wagon to pull. One filled with water, with a working steam-powered model narrowboat in it. :O
Or even a flat bed with one on. Then I'd have a boat on a train on a boat.

That was fabulous! I've seen scale steam engines before, but that one is really tiny. The look of concentration on your face while you tried to assemble the engine onto the lit burners was perfect. Thanks for posting, and Happy Easter Sasha!
I also a working steam roller roughly the same scale. But that is at my parents house. If theres interest I could get that in steam when I next visit them.

It was an interesting vlog and the bloopers were funny.
I've been volunteering on a heritage railway which is where I got my grubby face. It just inspired me to get my little train going. Unfortunately its all on it own with no carriages or truck to haul.

Thank you. Nobody has been in touch yet. I'm fairly sure there will be clubs somewhere with a track I could run it on. One day I'll have to look some up.

I would suggest a long wooden skewer, placed in the screw thread, as a guide for re mounting the chassis.
