+Statuatory Grape (KTF0) Yeah, polar opposite of Mustaine (though Dave has calmed down over the years). Ellefson is just an all around good guy. I read his book along with Mustaine's, a good read for sure.
Yeah, he is amazing...
I met him a year ago, we were talking about some stuff of music and coffe because i give him a bag of coffe, of my town and he signed up my bass and even played peace sells on it.

I miss this show...everyone on it...cast and crew. Eddie, Jay M, Don, and Jim....i still have this amp and still use it. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever received. Thank you still!

Nicest, most down to earth guy in metal. I have thought that for years about Ellefson. He just seems like a humble, regular guy. No ego...not into himself. Normal is the best word I can think of to describe him.

Man!!!!! always dreamed of a LH 1000 head and a 8x10 cab but here in South Africa with the rand dollar exchange rate it's not gonna happen (lol). That guy is so lucky to have such a beautiful bass rig by one of the best metal bassist in the world. Good luck with your rig man and David Ellefson is such a humble human being. Wish I could have seen these guy's in my country. This show rocks!

Hehe. I highly doubt that. There was a rumor floating around back in the 80's that when Cliff Burton died, Ellefson was the guy that Metallica ideally wanted to have to replace him. I'm sure he wasn't even approached due to the whole Mustaine thing. But just think and imagine if that had actually happened. Ellefson is a much better player than Burton was. Yeah, I know..a lot of non-musician, Cliff fan boys are going to disagree. But Ellefson is a dramatically better player. Burton's 'legend status' is built on fanboys and the fact that he died young. You don't hear musicians ever talking about what kind of amazing player he was. They just talk abut him being a cool guy.

GhostOfRhurValley i kept it. And still use it. ...not for gigs as its way too big for the shows we do but for rehearsals and recording.
