This is obviously a decent human being. Well spoken, homeless but still solid. I'd love to hear a good person, not someone who asking for too much, would seek this guy out and pull him out if this nightmare. .
It’s maintaining a job. That’s the hardest when you’re living on the streets. He had a job and was rebuilding his life, but then got arrested for being homeless and lost it. I’ve heard a similar story many times. The criminalization of homelessness just makes homelessness worse.
I became physically disabled after solely raising 3 children in a nice suburb. We lost our home and after a month in hotels (that I paid for) we entered the MA DHCD HomeBase program approximately the day it began. They placed us in a project-type community where my children witnessed things that I hoped they never would. My daughter was raped by two men. I had someone who I thought was a good friend and I became indebted to him. Long story, but as my therapist explained, "I was exploited" and this was several times a week over a period of 3 months. I was so lost that I couldn't even see a way out of it. Fortunately something happened and the answer was so simple. The thing is though, it ruined my life, my self-esteem, my brain (I was super intelligent and I could barely recall my own name). I sought therapy (for the first time in my life) because as I explained it, I felt "like I was going through the motions in life but not ever accomplishing anything". I was diagnosed with PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder and severe anxiety. I saw this therapist only a short while, because I ended up hospitalized for 6 weeks, evicted from the scattered site shelter because I avoided everything and anything relating to housing for fear of becoming homeless again and I did just that. I caused us to be homeless again. Sadly, I can now see people who are homeless, non-drug users, like myself, who can't find their way out of a paper bag because of their PTSD and who caused their own homelessness. My teenaged son and young adult daughters stayed with my sister and when I was released from the hospital, I was on the street. Long story short - it can happen to most of us. I believe that when decisions are made regarding how to deal with the homeless population, people who have been previously chronically homeless should be included in the discussion. Who else could possibly know what we need aside from those who have personally experienced it?
People believe because you're homeless you did something to deserve it. I'm just like him. College, made the dean's list every semester, no drug, alcohol, not even a parking ticket. I was homeless for 3 years. No one will believe you. You're homeless, so you're trash. We all don't have family's to take care of us. So stressful.
Im starting lose hope. People keep reporting me as "suspicious " and i have no recourse against these people. They keep swatting me while just asleep in my car. I just want an income greater than living expenses....
I guess i got really lucky when I lived in my car. Only issue I ever had was a few people being sketchy and shining their high beams at my car at night. But, I'm luckily pretty unshakable, so I guess my lack of a reaction led to them giving up. It sucks how people can't just mind their own business. If someone isn't harming anyone, there's no point in paying them any mind.

I live in Porto Alegre Brazil. A third world country, the most violent in the world.. and you don"t see this kind of absurd. Unfortunetly homelesness It's a very comun thing in big cities around the world. If the governament want to arrest people for this, they should to give oportunities.
It's absurd to criminalise being homeless, as anybody could fall into it through no fault of their own, like Aleksey. Laws against homelessness were recently introduced in the UK, and it's shocking to see that similar laws are also being introduced in other countries. I lived in the same apartment in Munich for 16 years. Two years ago, I lost the apartment after the rent became too expensive due to a renovation. There was nothing that I would have been able to do to stop the renovation. Since then, I've lived in two shelters. In the first one, I lived in a shared room with roommates who were sometimes aggressive. The second shelter is one in which all of the rooms are single rooms, and I was on the waiting list for four months. Many cities have housing shortages and high rents. Munich is one of them, and I get the impression that Miami is too. What do they expect people to do when they can't find an apartment, and there's no room in the shelters? This ridiculous law against homelessness caused Alexey to lose a job.

I'm originally from Buffalo. It's a crime ridden dump. Sorry. I've been through it in my life too, but anyone who had a roommate and an "office" job - even IF it was an entry level one - for a year and a half who didn't save any money at his age? Sorry. Personal responsibility is a biggie once you become an adult. Sorry.
@@dyates6380 ☘️There are all kinds of people who don't have money saved - for various reasons.
🪷 There are so many reasons. It could involve cars. It could Involve family. Do you know what it's like to live on the street and be afraid - and not get enough sleep? And go to work.
You know nothing.
@@dyates6380May you be blessed with an infusion of compassion into your cold, cruel and judgmental heart.
@@dyates6380 I was thinking the same thing. At the very least he should have a car.
@dyates6380 all high-school students should take a course in personal finance before graduation. These courses should teach them the basics of budgets and investments.
I live in Porto Alegre Brazil. A third world country, the most violent in the world.. and you don"t see this kind of absurd.
Unfortunetly homelesness It's a very comun thing in big cities around the world. If the governament want to arrest people for this, they should to give oportunities.
Sad. See this so much
Thanks!
What a beautiful soul! Homlessness is NOT a crime! Heck!
We appreciate your insights. Keep working hard.
This ridiculous law against homelessness caused Alexey to lose a job.
it's crimes against humanity to be honest law like that.
Blessings ❤❤
I wish him well and encourage him to look online for work in California that will make use of his degree. I am a native of Silicon Valley and there have always been jobs for people with his skills and degree. Praying for the best for him, I highly recommend looking online for work in Silicon Valley- I think he will find work here. 🙏🏻💜
We are praying for you Alexi! Pls don’t give up ; good things will come to you

He’s REALLY trying!
Praying for him!!!!
MY HEART ❤ GOES OUT TO THIS GUY .
He appears clean and sober. I wish i could help him.
Sending ❤️ your way brother. All of you
Everything that man is saying absolutely True.
Aleksey is intelligent, and seems to be a good peron. It is a shame he lost his job because he got in trouble for being homeless. You would think that the police would have given him a break because he had a job, but they did not care. Hope he can find some other employment and get his life back together.
blessings to this man, may God lift him up 🙏 its equally been my 6th winter ,im sleeping in a cardboard box as am typing this. give a little if you can to aid people stay alive until they find a opportunity to recover. people have no idea how lifesaving 1usd is.
How tragic! Being arrested for being homeless? Outrageous! Aleksey seems like such a wonderful & decent person too! May the Lord bless & keep Aleksey. May He protect, comfort & strengthen him at all times & in every way! May He bless him with a decent job, home & family, as he so longs for & deserves. May the Lord also bless the many others who are in the same situation or even worse. May God move upon others' hearts, who are in a stronger position, to help these precious folks in any way they can. In His Name. Amen.
Really sad this kind of things. Man is trying hard and then system brings him down. You really gotta be greatful what you have...
I see these interviews every now and then. I always wish that they would end differently. I always wish that the interviewer would offer the homeless person a spot on his couch. I know it would be risky. Inviting someone in could cost a person their life. So I don’t know the answer to homelessness. I wish we weren’t afraid to invite the stranger into our homes.
I'm homeless also, it's hard at times but I just put one foot in front of the other. All the best to you Brother ☀️
Donate to this guy,he's trying...
I'm so sorry for this guy. He seems like he is from the former Soviet bloc. They are very hard-working people, and it just goes to show that if he can become homeless, anyone can. I hope he can get on his feet fast.
Really good story ! Like and share.
they treat the homeless ruthlessly in Florida. its unreal how bad they threat these people. I try to raise awareness but the preception is they are all addcits.. and sadly tooamny ar ebut that doesnt excuse their treatment, the females victims and the males to jail. heartless, sad.. it make sme very upset how we do these people. the florida homeless population is over 100K the number the state reports is a lie we have done videos explaining this. i cant even watch anymore, its hard to watch. the police here are shameful waht they do
MIAMI? / omg, the heat!
Florida is always hot and humid. But l been reading that this year they're actually having record temperatures higher than normal.
It is brutal heat and people are having heat strokes. I know he is telling the truth. I pray his situation changes.
Thanks for the heads up. About to be homeless myself. Good thing we got to a place surrounded by woods, plenty of quiet out of the way places to just fade out.
thank you for this
I'm homeless in Ocean City maryland and the town does nothing in the way of helping the homeless however we have about a half dozen churches that feed us 6 days a week, the town refuses to admit that the townhall a homeless population but there's a half dozen churches that will tell you different and show you different
Idk if the guy who runs this channel travels much but if ur in southern Ontario Canada I've got plenty of stories to tell and so do my ppl on the streets. U wanna see how bad things are in Canada this is part one, I can be direct messaged, I live in Kitchener Ontario and we are an unbelievably hard hit city. Talk to me brother, I have something to show you. ❤️
Please pray for all of these men women and children alike God is the God of miracles and we just have to believe and have faith in Jesus name I pray provision and open doors to them all Praise God Hallelujah
There have been billions and billions of prayers. Many more than the entire human population many times over. And yet this good man and many more like him suffer. It looks like your prayers don't work.
@@shakeyj4523many prayers are answered, many aren't. We just have to keep praying and keep working to make the world a better place no matter what.
@@-Teague- You have zero real evidence for a single prayer being answered. Praying in public is simply grandstanding. Praying on You Tube is insulting.

giving billions to ukraine and isreal while people like this is homeless, and I am a ukranian jew but this is sickening. Start a gofundme for this man I will donate.
People must protest. The treatment of people in this country is inhumane. The billionaires control so much at the cost of so many people's lives.

If you get arrested for being homeless can you sue???
No because States are now passing laws that it is illegal to live on the streets basically kicking people while their down 😡😡😡😞😞
Miami is very close to where I'm currently homeless in West Palm Beach.
This is what I consider to be an exceptional human being, from whom many arrogant people should learn. I had to help so much people that did not need anything at all and I had to deal with the consequences of what this kind of people are willing to do for vanity and greed. I'm so bad at dectecting good people from bad ones, that I can't even get it through my head! In 6 minutes this gentlemen made me realize what is real. With the time and effort and the pain that eats up your time and willingness that I have spent for pointless people, I could have helped so many people like him, I'm fed up to be furious with these rats! If you give a hand to people like this guy, be sure they will offer you both hands in return.
God bless him and all of the homeless.
1 Samuel 2:8, they'll be taken care of; although, they bear a living witness against those who show no mercy. It's everyone else that needs to worry.
Help these people!!!
WOW 😳 I've been to Miami from Toronto. This gentleman has had such an unfortunate experience. Seems to have done things right and can't get a break. See how homelessness can happen to anyone!!

You don't get "picked up for just being homeless on the street". You get picked up for committing a crime.
His reluctance to share this crime and to purposely try to deceive shows how much his words can be trusted.

One of the prior videos I saw was where a homeless woman said how she had the urn with the ashes of her son seized by police and discarded. Two weeks ago, I was talking to a ranger at a park where there are homeless. He occasionally has to do sweeps but has other homeless give the small encampment a heads up. When I mentioned the story about the woman and her urn being taken away, it hit the guy right there. He paused and then stated that it was a cautionary tales in which he would tell other rangers that would fill in for him.
This is brutal... welcome to America..
I would love an update on Alex!!
He was in an industry that causes asset inflation that exacerbates COL which ends with homelessness.
Give the poor man a break! He was working. He wasn’t selling drugs or doing anything illegal. More Americans are only a paycheck away from landing in this same dilemma. We’re allowing all these immigrants homes and opportunities yet we arrest citizens for being homeless!?! We need to take care of our own dammit! Our government needs to stop sending hundreds of billions of dollars to other countries when we are arresting homeless veterans. Sometimes I think the world is coming to an end, more often I pray it will! 🤷♂️

At age 18 my niece was hit by a repeat drunk driver and became a tetraplegic in an instant. No movement from the chest down, no hand movement, limited arm movement, pain each and every day. She worked her butt off to overcome the obstacles put in front of her, worked hard, put herself through law school, graduated with honors, and went on to earn herself a great job. She recently bought her first home, hasn't even turned 30 yet, and did it all from a wheelchair without taking a dime of taxpayer money.
Jesus help this gentleman. If you were close to me I would help you
