Why these dryer videos are so enjoyable I don't know. It wasn't until I watched one of these I had my dryer looked at. The hose was so plugged I told him to just pitch it and install a new one.

I'm glad you found it informative! If you have a long duct line, like 25 feet or so, once a year can be a good idea. If its shorter, like 10 feet, maybe every three years would be better. The frequency of cleaning just depends on how fast lint builds up in each type of duct line. How much laundry you do is a primary contributing factor as well!

That dryer vent hose is actually against code. Most states hone inspector will put ribbed dryer vent needs to be replaced with smooth pipe..
