I admit the celica would not be one of my top body choices, but you executed it pretty well. I really want to see it moving though! Get it out and get it dirty! Also, kudos on the excellent use of that Office clip.

My wife had the "GTS". It should have a sunroof. The wheels are close but they were 5 spoke and painted silver. The GTS had a 6spd manual, all the others were 5spd.
Ya, I was going to guess 2500 for a good celica. Kinda with chris on this one, a little unfair with his paint and detail skills. Car looks ok, the rally version saves it for me, ha. Nothing works better than body posts. When they aren't there, your other details gotta be amazing because everything becomes more noticable. Let er rip!

I would be remiss if I didn't call you out for turning an on road build to an off road build just as I did for RCDriver. Just when I thought we were going to see on road love, you have to turn it into off road like EVERY RC CHANNEL out there. I am disappointed and feel let down. Just saying.
I appreciate the feedback - when I did the first three videos, overwhelmingly the feedback was Rally. When I set out to build this, I even stated grip or drift. In the grand scheme, I’m just more comfortable off-road. There’s more places to run these as well. There literally no on-road tracks in my area and I can only do parking lots so much. 😃
Jolene Vilis .... did that really upset you? Really? If you are an On-road junkie then I’m fairly certain that this chassis doesn’t get you that excited anyway. This is an entry level kit, so relax these guys had fun and most importantly made you FREE CONTENT. How about a thank you for the hours and hours it takes to do this. At the end of the day, I watch these videos to support the channel creator and the hobby.
NAHTYDREDZ to be honest, totally outside my comfort zone.....mostly because of the weather.....in SoCal, it was 45 degrees when I painted this....I tried prolonging it, but then the rain hit. I’m used to painting in 80 degree heat! 😃. I agree on the RCN paint scheme....but wanted to do something different. Next time, I told Chris we should build a race kit, no body! 🤓

Yeah, not a big choice on bodies....lots of out of stocks, and I’ve already done a Porsche and Supra....and I couldn’t do a mustang.....
