Omg tell me about it 😭. Me and my friends put in over 10 hours, all of us reached ruler +9, I won 6 100x battles over all and we got 0 points.
Fr is future players got shafted not even getting any points

I yelled when Team Past won! It was my wife’s first Splatfest and both of us picked Team Past! I was shocked! I did predict Team Present was the most popular, but wow at that percentage!
Also I was in a 333x battle as I was with Team Pasta vs Team Rice. Everything got blocked out and I stayed focused on the match. At the end I really didn’t know who won until the result. Winning by 0.6%!

Nah it wasn't toxic. It was the best splatfest that I've ever had in my entire life. I was okay with the three teams winning. In the end, it's just a silly squid game. Sincerily, from team Present ❤💙💚

Same here. I always bounce to my own rhythm. If they have issues with my decision it’s not my problem. I was too busy having a good time with this to care anyway. 😎
I'll admit I had a great time with this fest, loving the setup for the whole event, but I still can't help but feel just a little disappointed at the end. I was really hoping to get at least one more win (Team Present) what with it being the last fest and all . . . "I'm not mad, just disappointed" 😔
Still, GGs all around. I got the warm fuzzies from seeing others share their time and thoughts during and after the fest, so getting to experience it was worth it. 💕
Why past I don’t understand is it just because of Callie and Marie? I tried not to have any nostalgia beat influence my choice.
it's a mix of loyalty to the squid sisters, wanting a traditional japanese aesthetic, and being curious about inkling history.

I thought present was good because you have a consistent timeline that wouldn’t be confusing similar to how confusing the legend Zelda is. I also thought it would be better to have the other things as DLC because I don’t think traveling to the present for a short story campaign would probably won’t be good.

As team present it’s kinda upsetting. After the halftime report I started getting a lot of mirror matches. Felt rigged because before the halftime it was all fine. Ggs all around ig.
My toxic experience was not having fun on the Grand Fest. Every match was either team Past or Present spawn camping or in Tri they would ignore the other team and camp us (I was on future) and let the other side take the Ultra Signals. I lost so many 10x and 100x matches that this fest was just really exhausting.
But i did win a 333x on my last game before the results, which made me cry because i felt like a failure because we didn't get a single point. I felt that all my hard work the four days and got to Ruler +10 was for nothing.
Ggs to team Past, but now i see everyone dissing Future and making fun of us who were on it because we 'didn't try hard enough' or 'weren't trying'. It hurts to see comments like these because yes we did try, we just couldn't do anything with all the bullying.

I was probably gonna go past but my friend forced me against my will to pick future (heck you toad power) i mean i did win 12 100x battles and a 333x battle so i had fun on the last splatfest

Man why are you getting toxic towards the other idols? We should all be proud that we got a magnificent experience in the grand fest and we got to see the every character in the splatoon franchise. That right there is what made splatoon very special and the most exclusive Nintendo game on the planet.

Oh ffs every team was toxic that's how splatfests always go! There were literally ppl in dudes stream saying stuff like "squid sisters suck" and I've seen plenty of ppl insult team past for being "chronically online sweats" after our win.Most people are OK but there are bad actors in every team that ruin all of the fun.I am truly sorry for all of the toxicity team present got but that doesn't give them the right to act like the sole victims this is ridiculous
@@existentialcrisis10 we aren't the sole victims but we definitely got from what I saw more hate then the other teams especially for liking off the hook because they are shipped which doesn't make any sense since they all do
I've seen hate towards all 3 teams, especially towards Past after we won. Like people being mad because they think Past will influence the next game in a way they don't like (even though we literally have no idea what Nintendo will do). Chaos didn't influence Splatoon 3 much other than aesthetics so honestly I'm not that bothered 😂 Splatoon team will cook no matter what on aesthetics, the thing that really matters most is gameplay
We were all terrible to each other. Team future and present were constantly saying we were going to ruin the next game.

Hi Dude, I have a question. For Jet Squelcher in Splatoon Wii U, can you get a 3-shot kill using a certain amount of Damage Up? If so, how many?
Made it to Present Ruler+1. Felt like 95% of my matches were against Team Present, not 56% as reported. Sneak peak was almost perfect 33% for each team. What are the odds of that near perfect spread? Near zero. I must have seen team Past like twice in 3 days. I'm starting to suspect all results are totally cooked up numbers and not at all honest and reflective of actual results. Devs internally could be like 'hey were making splatoon 4 who do you want in the story? OK we'll just make them win the GF because we can'. There are plenty of ways they can cheat the numbers. They could match a couple X rank players against A rank players in a bunch of 100X battles. They could create inefficient team comps. Bottom line is the results rarely match what I'm seeing in game. I would like to see more statistical transparency in Splatoon 4. If it's extremely lop-sided, let it be! I would love to see players given more agency on kits they match with too.

But Perla won for Chaos and we got very little of Perla in SPlat3. So making this all about the idols it strange
man, all the splatoon veterans were in team past. Im also a veteran but I went with future and many times, they were pretty bad
The second worst option won, since you can't bring back the fun we had in splatoon 1 imo
I would've preferred to see some seriously new stuff in the next game to avoid the "overpriced DLC" vibes this type of games usually have, but it's still better than stagnating in the current situation...
P.s. choosing a team only based on what idol(s) are in it will never not be cringe

I’m mad at team past only because there’s a fan theory based on NOTHING that team past winning would mean we’d get lore about the great turf wars. I do not believe Nintendo would ever do that so team past working overtime to win feels rigged and misguided.
I dont think every team past member picked it for that, gonna be honest 😅 like personally I know better than to expect anything but vibes or a story cameo (see: splatoon 2 & 3). Personally I'd love a retro or even historical looking hub area, maybe some more salmonid lore, but it is very possible that past winning barely affects the game at all aside from a few aesthetic choices.
I think the real reason Past won is because a lot of Past players like Dude & I have been playing since the 1st game and are nostalgic
