In these apocalyptic shorts, why do does everybody take their food out of their backpacks, lay it all out and then walk away from it? And then get upset when other people try to take it?

I work with recovering alcoholics who often have been living under bridges for years. They cherish their toothbrush, bar of soap and pocket knife. It is amazing how little one can live upon. Of course being drunk helps dull the pain and inconvenience of it all.

I appreciate the effort, time and creativity. If you want to sell the idea of a post apocalyptic survivor, take the wardrobe and drive over it with a truck for a couple of days first. Everything looks brand new, including the soup cans.

Thats what I thought too. Also a house/building in the background when he chases the scavenger ( who also somehow was behind him in one shot). The "fallout shelter " was actually a steel rubbish skip.🤫

It wasn't just one truck it was a truck and a couple of card zooming by in the bg.

I made a post apocalyptic film a while back. its called Shelter. i've made 3 films so far.
Hey, not bad for a few kids with no budget to work with. Take the constructive criticism and ignore the rude comments by the people who have nothing better to do than put other people down to make themselves feel better. Did they make any movies themselves? Or do they just like making rude comments on other people's work?
Looks like everyone beat me to the comments so........l think I'll just go watch a cat video.

Good job! Just next time make some fx for gun, and most important - why so clean clothes? Make it dirty and it will be more realistic. And try ride of some non-project object in background like cars by after fx. Wish you good luck for next project!

@@mariataylor4397 When I was little I tore all of the labels off of mom's canned goods. So she would open one can and then plan the meal around it. HAHAHA.

Wow. Even the 1st 4 minutes had an hours worth of debunk in it! This gets an award for most poorly, unbelievable, tasteless waste of time I've seen yet! From new clothes off the shelf to an armed man allowing a zombie attack and CONTACT, to the wasting of used goods like cans that could provide extra weaponry or shielding, to the pisspoor movement....I could go on, but this totally wasted even my leisure minutes. Shot.

I’m sorry you felt that way. This was one of our earlier films before we adopted the World War II theme.
