That was my favorite voice of all the members of the Eagles. R.I.P.
Such a beautiful and romantic song, I just love Glenn Frey. Thanks for the great selection Neal, and Harri.
Cynthia - You're welcome. My HS girlfriend gave me the album "On The Border" in the summer of '75. I had heard "Already Gone" on the way home from school with some friends. I asked them who we were listening to and they said, "this is the Eagles." I had to have that album! I had heard "Take It Easy", "Witchy Woman", "Desperado" and a few other songs but always on the radio. I remember seeing the name "Glenn Frey" for the first time on the back of that album. Little did I know then of the journey I was about to get on following the Eagles over all these years.
Great song, sax very soulful.
Smugglers Blues
Sexy Girl
The Heat is On
You Belong to the City
From Glenn's solo debut album " No Fun Aloud" from 1982. A beautiful song about a friendship that the boy hopes will turn to love, but the ex boyfriend calls and screw this up.
The sax is so captivating and Glenn's dreamy vocals are so seductive to the ears. 💎💎💎💎 Just a dreamy song. Love it. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and PNCombie. Masterpiece.🎷🎷🎶🎶 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
You're welcome, Mary!
Great ballad by Glenn, and Ernie Watts sax solo, outstanding! Thanks Harri!
The one you Love and Lover's Moon are two of the most romantic Glenn Frey love songs around.
That sax riff is awesome
I heard you on the phone
An example why the Eagles was such a great band. Glen Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, all successful with the band or as solo artists.
My 3 favorite Glenn Frey love songs are #1 The One You Love #2 Lover's Moon #3 She Can't Let Go all 3 are beautifully done.
Excellent reaction! I love Glenn, he’s my favorite Eagle. He will always be Smuggles Blues to me.
P.N. great request. Harri I love this song. I still haven't gotten over his death. He and Merle Haggard died in the same year. What a loss to the world of music. Wonderful reaction Harri! I love watching your face as you get into the song.
Thank you!
Always been one of my favorites.
One of my favorite songs. So many memories
This song brought a ton of emotions and memories. I was in an intense relationship in 1982 that was doomed.
You know you're gonna change up your mind
Are you gonna
RIP Glenn. He brought us so much joy through his amazing music.
I enjoy your reactions to songs you sample. To me you come across as absolutely sincere in your reviews. And this particular song from Glen Frey might be the song he’s most remembered for after his Eagles material. Keep up the good work and reviews!!
Ah 1982 the year of my youth this song and Hall and Oates "One on one" just take me back more than any other songs from that time
Just a song to smooth out the day
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SONG
So smooth and timeless!!!
I didn't know this was Glenn, it's a really sweet tune. RIP Glenn
Thanks Harri
👍🏽🎶👍🏽🎶great tune-smooth
Sax was outstanding
Sent me back of one of my life's events.
PN - Great selection from Glenn Frey's solo career. Harri, you obviously enjoyed this one and spot-on review.
Another great reaction Harri 👍🏽 I was only 13 years old when this song was released heard it loved it went out and bought the single on a vinyl 45 rpm still love the song which now resides in my cell phone. 🎷♥️
I got this album as soon as it was released. I worked in a record store at the time. I played it a LOT because there were so many great songs on it -- including this one.
This song was so surprisingly relevant to my life when it came out. Decisions and choices needed and had to be made that impacted three lives.
I purchased the cassette just before a cruise while I was in the Navy. Liked to wore it out…
It has been ages since I heard this song and it sure is a great one. Thank you PN and thank you too Harri.💞
The pleasure was mine, Diane...you're welcome!
Amazing song! And that sax is off the charts! This whole album rocks! I Found Somebody, Partytown and many more! Miss you Glenn!
Great request Neal! I love Harri’s commentary as well! Eagles had so much talent amongst their members, it’s no wonder they climbed to the top of the musical mountain 🌺✌️
Thanks, Debbie!
I have this album and I love every song on it.
Harry, thanks for reacting to this song! It’s my favorite from Glenn Frey. You always do a great job!
Our pleasure!
Nothing but great tunes on this album ❤
Glenn's solo stuff was so overlooked, many of us pissed about the break up of Eagles. When Rolling Stone asked him if he'd ever return to Eagles he said , Why, I'm having fun...with that said this song is beautiful....Hari please check out Glenns solo album "Strange Weather" ..and a single called.." River of Dreams.'
Oh my! Thank you again!
Great choice 👌
Thank you!
The Heat is on is another good song.
If there are 2 bands I regret not seeing live came here with original members 1) is the Eagles and 2) is Fleetwood Mac. They both came in 2015 and tickets for each concert were around $400 each. Sadly Glenn died 6 months later and Fleetwood Mac kicked Lindsey out of the band again. Now Christine McVie is gone. So I guess I just have my Vinyl & CDs. But both bands will be always a part of the song list of my life 😉
Great song from 1982. If you listen closely you can hear a bit of the big Eagles hit I Can't Tell You Why it's DNA
Beautiful song and reaction but what if you reversed the song being sung by a woman! Now I know what people who loved me went through! Thank you for sharing!
Harribest u need to react to Glen Frey's Don't Give Up song. Ur gonna luv the rift on his guitar. Check it out.
niiiiice
Freddie King tribute by Joe Bonamassa, Derek Trucks, Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill - Goin' Down ... That video will change your life
No Fun Aloud..a direct shout out to The Eagles, burnout and drudgery leading to the 1980 break up....thank goodness the reunited in 1996...and it was fun again.
Actually, Jonothan, they reunited in '94. I saw them for the second time in San Antonio, TX on their "Hell Freezes Over Tour" that summer.
@@pncombies Thanks bro to I know it was around the time Travis Tritt asked them to get together for his Take it Easy video..
I'm getting older and the years are melding together..lol. Shout out to TX..from your friend North of the Red River.✌️
@@johnathanstruble1064 Back at you from your friend from in Austin. I was working evenings for the main PO in Austin in the summer of '94, and I would hang out late night with a co-worker and friend who worked like hours, and who was a neighbor of mine. A former radio station in Austin - Z-102 - was giving tickets away for the Eagles show in San Antonio. After about a week of playing pool and video games with my friend after work and trying win tickets while listening to Z-102, I was finally that 8th caller and I snagged a couple of tickets to their Hell Freezes Over Tour. I drove down there the next day and it was wonderful! My lady and I just saw them at the new Moody Center on UT's campus in May. It was a superb show, but I was definitely missing Don Felder and their former frontman, Glenn Frey. Nice to know you, Jonothan...you can find me on Facebook as "Neal Combies".
@@pncombies what a great story, winning tix on radio! Wow...I'm not on Facebook but , just maybe I'll catch ya on a comment now and again. 😁🤣 Take care brother, you have a guy in Oklahoma! ✌️
I've heard this before, liked it, but never followed through for more, just so bust times.
I don't think this song was a hit!
It was the first single released from this album in 1982. It reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100.
This song is so underrated. Absolutely beautiful
Underrated? This song was a Huge hit!
a painful song when you dont know what to do.
I hear this and I can't wait for it to be over! 😩
Try patty griffin again you never asked me with lyrics and goodbye with lyrics they make you think about living and dying
Are you going to do She's don't know she's beautiful by Sammy Kershaw ( the song my husband asked for my birthday) or I don't think you're pretty by Richie Fields ( The one for valentine's day for me and my husband)?
