I haven't watched the video yet but These are Few details that may go unnoticed on first watch and super interesting to know so everyone pleasse check these out cause they are pretty cool: 1)Sukuna got the popcorn and soda cause he always heard Yuji talking about movies. remember yuji's convo with Junpei which suggest that yuji is in cinema and films and thats why he was also forcing megumi and nobara into watching human earthworm 4 in s2 ep 6. Also he asked megumi his fav popcorn flavour and THAT GOT SUKUNA CURIOUS TO TRY IT . Though some also believe that sukana ate and drank to make Yuji vomit but i think Yuji would have puked either way. 2) Mahoraga was foaming in the mouth because in one frame a bottle of phenyl or cleaning liquid that was on the floor of the mall/showroom got cut by sukuna's slices and ended up in Mahoraga's mouth. It is hard to notice cause it only appears for a single quick frame. 3) You can see that Sukuna was making hand movements but not ALWAYS the slices appeared with that negative or black and white effect which showed Sukuna using his technique. That means sukuna was making FAKE HAND MOVEMENTS to TRICK MAHO into thinking that a slice is coming and Mahoraga used to defend himself and nothing wwould happen cause it was a fake. At 18:25 sukuna stops and makes a straight hand position SERIOUSLY making Maho think an attack is coming and thats why Mahoraga stop with one leg up abruptly but nothing happens. The next movement at 18:26 Sukuna smiles cause he just faked mahoraga and moves his arm gently creating a devastating slice. He does it again at 18:33 makes a horizontal hand movement and Maho puts his hand up in defence but nothing happens and when maho starts to shadowbox sukuna makes a paste out of him on the wall. You can watch Sukuna pump fake multiple times from the 18:26 mark till 18:46. 4) Mahoraga ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDS THAT SUKUNA IS PUMP FAKING AND thats why he starts to swing his arms like he is boxing or punching SO THAT WHEN HIS ARMS GET SLICED BY SUKUNA'S ATTACK THAT LIMB WOULD FLY IN SUKUNA'S DIRECTION LIKE A PUNCH AND HURT HIM. Thats why Sukuna slaps his arm away when he does THAT multi slices attack after saying "You can see my technique". 5) Due to sukuna faking and lying about his attack Mahoraga ENDS UP LEARNING that he can also LIE OR FAKE HIS ATTACKS. BECAUSE OF THAT the scene where they end up in station Mahoraga goes down a little bit making it seem he is trying to crush something but moves his punch upwards and ends up HITTING SUKUNA (18:53). Before the punch Sukuna smiles maniacaly in a frame which suggests that sukuna IS HAPPY THAT HE HAS TAUGHT MAHORAGA TO LIE. AND BY DOING THAT HE HAS KIND OF CORRUPTED THE DIVINE STATUS OF MAHORAGA ( Mahoraga's full name is 'Eight handled sword Sila DIVINE GENERAL Mahoraga' ) 6) While mahoraga was in the pool you can see that he has Gills on his neck and he absorbs all the water ! ALSO you can see mahoraga grow big when he hits sukuna with the train. That shows tha bro can adapt to PHYSICAL phenomenas TOO like increasing his height or giving himself Gills to breathe underwater ! 7) Sukuna could have made the domain to 10m or 20m instead of 140m but then he wouldn't be able to torment Yuji with all the murders. Also his domain being big has a con or i should say thats the deal or the pact THAT SUKUNA'S DOMAIN IS OPEN THAT MEANS ONE CAN ESCAPE OUT OF IT and because of this one he gets the 200M domain while others are barely 10m. 8) In Manga Shigemo Haruta that blonde dude's technique was explained a bit more clearly. So if he notices things like "OH the time is 11:11 PM" Or "The date was 02/02/02" such coincidences are what get stored as an EXTRA LIFE under his eye. So basically he has SIX extra lives and he wont die until and unless all 6 get exhausted.
Yeah, both episodes were directed by the superstars of Mob Psycho. Ep 16 was directed by Tsuchigami, who directed Mob Psycho S2 Ep11 (Shimazaki vs Everyone). Ep 17 was directed by three peoples: Tsuchigami, Hakuyu Go (S2 Ep5, Mob vs Mogami), Harumi Yamazaki (debut), along with many key animators from Mob and One Punch Man S1 also participating. They joined the project thanks to invitations and connections from the series director, Gosso. Unfortunately, some of them declared they wouldn’t return to the project due to the working conditions at the studio at that time.
Not quite, he’s a freelance animator, he gets called for his services he does the work. He said explicitly that he’d never work with Mappa again due to their work conditions and that says a lot since he’s a freelance artist.
@@K3L9B Someone mentioned that Gosso has good connections within the industry and if he somehow makes it work then Hakuyu Go can come again in future and Vincent came on Go's request so yeah (Not sure for S3 until and unless its production schedule is good) Although i truly hope that Gosso directs ALL OF JJK because his vision of JJK is great and he himself seems quite passionate for the direction of it
In the explanation that megumi gave in the beginning of the episode, he said that the taming ritual is voided if it has outsiders, but he also said that a shikigami can be summoned as many times as needed for the subjugation ritual. That implies that megumi can still summon mahoraga for the subjugation ritual even though sukuna defeated it in this episode.
Sorry for being late . I don't know if you noticed but near the end when Mahoraga was shadowboxing he was actually trying to predict Sukuna's slashes which Sukuna started fainting.
Dunno if u notice Megumi's hand sign in episode 1 but he was already about to unleash Mahoraga there when Yuji was possesed by Sukuna. He only canceled the summon since Gojo has arrived lols.
pretty sure it will top this cause of Honehone and Yoshihara they about to cook. But i wonder if we will ever again get this levels of animation for future fights ....IMO not possible for S3 ( they will be fucking good but not ont this level) but if there were to be another JJK movie then i hope and cope it happens like this or csm reze arc
@Shivam-dr4pr I think mappa will try to out do their own adaptation with each Project. But Sukuna vs Mahoraga is something else it was like animators were having so much fun. It's like you have blank canvas and freedom to do whatever you want 😉

Idk if you were active on socials regarding the news but apparently Hakuyu Go (directed MOB PSYCHO S2EP5) tweeted that they (animators) should throw their company id cards into the trash bin after finishing the episode. He was that angry with the scheduling and the working condition. Vincent chansard (the one who animated Mahoraga plane scene, Mahoraga building throwing scene and famous sukuna domain scene . He is the one behind all that crazy impact frames in One piece and has vowed to NEVER RETURN TO MAPPA EVER :(
